Not now it isnt. Most of the real estate now is way over priced. Now is the time to sell, not buy.
For short term but real estate is always a good investment in the long term. Besides the recent increase in homes rents continue to climb regardless. Owning properties is always good.

No doubt. But this is the worst time in the history of the world to buy.

As an unabashed momma's boy, RIP mom, YES.

I'm proud to have bought her a house.
Too bad her ex-husband took it away, but that's neither here nor there.

I bought her another.
I bought a house for my daughter. I never met my mom. It’s nice to be able to help others. When is enough enough.

Nice to see. This is what progress is all about. Thanking those that helped you get to where you are and making life better for your children then it was for you. There is always one generation that has to break through the poverty barrier and become successful. Takes hard work and dedication and often a little luck. Then you have to stay on top.
I think it’s his house from what I am reading. He’s just going to live with mom

My property value has skyrocketed. I'd sell it just to pull out the equity, but then I'd have to live in a van down by the river.
Exactly. Where do you go in the meantime when you’re waiting for prices to come back to normal. If you sell high you have to buy high. It’s all a wash. I am happy where I am , 25 minutes from Gillette Stadium

Not in the TX market right now. Homes are going for 100k over asking. Thanks California………
I don’t know what California has to do it. Entire country. Prices are skyrocketing. Interest rates

I just gave a car away. The girlfriend took it. Because she put it in her name and he couldn’t register it. But that’s neither here or there good for you. You did the right thing in the first place that’s what counts. I don’t care what other people do. After my good gesture

We came into some money after selling the company in 2018. Bought 5 houses in the KC market and rent them through a well qualified pipeline we built with KU Med. Turned out pretty well so far.

3 years ago, perfect timing.

I just made good investments over the years. T-Mobile when it was Omni point. Took a job with a pension. Rather than a 401(k). Made less money but Wreaking the benefits of it now. Just got 35% on my mutual funds. Things are good. Hope they stay that way.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. If you can be both for a few years in life... it can be life changing.

This is coming from a guy that was living in a halfway-house in 1990.

And the best time to sell so it always washes. First time home owners I agree and it'll drop but in 3 years will go up and beyond again.

Life experiences have taught me it can be gone in the blink of an eye. I love seeing folks I have posted with over the decades doing well. I am not posting to brag, but more as an encouragement to some who might be going through struggles.

Work hard and try to take advantage of opportunities as they come up. They will come. Everyone is wired differently. I am a risk taker. Lost more than I won.
