Over his dead body!
Here you have one of the most promising blues chip WRs in the NFL and some idiot coach floats this crazy around?
Buster, you are one crushing tackle or one twisted knee away from losing one of our main spark plugs on the O.
Is fassel senile?
"It's going to be revolved around what we think CeeDee is good at..."
Are you stupid?
Ceedee is bloody good at WR, blokes. Do we need this weasel to tell us otherwise?
I'm just guessing here. I think you might not like the idea of CeeDee as a punt returner Am I right?

CD just getting some early reps, cause he is the best athlete with the ball in his hands, and early reps in camp go to the boss.
Good to have CD when you need him big in that situation, but no way he is full time,, its early and media over reacts and then fans do the same.

Hate it. Let someone we need less take that risk.

Oy vey.

Fans of this team boggle my mind sometimes.

Fans complain that there isn’t enough full contact and hitting in practices and training camp.

And then when we play real games, these same fans complain that we shouldn’t risk injuries to players by actually playing them.

You play to win the game people! Put the best players out there. I loved watching Deion return punts (who was a much better and valuable player than freaking Ceedee Lamb). You use every competitive advantage that you can.

I love RBs as returners. Stout guys who can take a collision and not give up the ball. I'll take Pollard at any returns he's good at.
I get why CD is getting looks there, but its rather ambitious to think Jerry is going to hang his very near future franchise WR1 out there is no mans land,, thats what they call that gig,, when your running not knowing where that
hit can come from... lol
aint happening except in the few big moments...
So agree that Pollard will become the main man back there.

...I don't like the idea. Punt returners are like sitting rabbits ready to get picked off. Maybe trade off with someone else.

Exactly!

I didn’t hear people saying “don’t put Coach Sanders” out for punt returns after he ran one(several) back for a TD!

And it wasn’t that long ago people were clamoring for Dez to return punts..

But we can’t put CeeDee out there? Why?! Bc he might get hurt? What?

“bc it puts a target on him?” Lol.. ridiculous. This is football. Tell that to the QB that get plastered by a blindside hit.. tell that to the RB that knows he’s about to get lit running it up the gut.. tell that to Lamb the next time he runs a crossing route across the middle. Quit playing scared. Smh..

Look.. I get protecting a player when he’s all you have, but we’ve got talent and numbers at WR.. if Lamb is willing and he’s the best punt returner.. “Hey coach! Put me in”-Lamb

Looks like Lamb got a lot less scrawny this offseason.
He gained 10 lbs

While I agree, I disagree to an extent.
Deion did his best damage when we needed that spark, so Im good with CD being used, just use him at the right times.

The right time is when the game is still close and it's not a fair catch situation. If we're getting blown out or blowing out the other team, then there's no sense in taking unnecessary risks. Of course, that's also usually the time when you pull starters from the game.
