Not feeling great about the CBs either--lot of inexperience--but they at least have the chance to develop. I fear Kazee and Hooker have no bright future.

NFL is bottom-line about the dollar. Players like Thomas who have a bad attitude and think giving the finger to fans is okay are a threat to that dollar. An owner like Jerry who loves dollars more than perhaps any other owner in sports is most likely not going to give a malcontent like Thomas another chance.

Hooker is over-rated. Heath plays just as good and actually is healthy.

As usual, the Cowboys will select the over-rated, oft-injured player. We all will regret it a year from now. Just watch.

Injury is one reason he is available. But why are the Colts, who have poor safeties too, not lifting a finger to bring him back? They would rather just roll with George Odum.

I am okay with giving it a shot. I am not going to read more into it than that.

That sounds about right . . . hopefully, he'd be able to withstand enough games to make the cost of his presence worthwhile.

Even if he has to take time off, there should be others available to fill in the time that it takes for him to return. Maybe it'd work?!

But those defensive tackles and linebackers are locked and loaded, or so some seem to believe.

This team is built to "win now", or so I've heard, yet we have thread after thread about defensive weaknesses/concerns. Truth is, some folks convince themselves defense doesn't matter. Then when the Cowboys lose 49-38 they blame the offense for "a slow start", as if that's a reason to concede half a hundred.

What did Earl Thomas do to be booted in a league that lets Antonio Brown back into it?

I felt like he would get brought back this offseason and most likely signed by us.

It obviously is more about being a bad teammate and a free lancer, meaning hanging people out to dry. Players can put up with people that rape, steal, and pillage but they can’t handle not being a brother or free lancing. IMO that’s why.
