Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign CB Kyron Brown

Brown showed a bit of promise in the three games he played in 2019. He was also one of New York’s training camp stars that year, giving credence to the thought that the 24-year-old has enough raw talent to bounce back in 2021 and be a contributor in the Jets’ secondary.

Injuries have essentially derailed Brown’s career to date, as the Akron product missed all of 2020 working his way back from a quad injury that caused him to miss 13 games in 2019.

It’s worth wondering if Brown’s injury woes have sapped him of the potential he showcased when he signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent after the 2019 NFL draft. Quad injuries are tough to overcome, and Brown might not have the same lateral quickness or straight-line speed he had before going down.

We should cut the punter to make room for the CB: With our unstoppable QB, best in the league OL, talented WR corps, and Zeke, we'll never have to punt.

"Brown went undrafted in 2019 and has only spent time with the New York Jets to date. He hung around with them early on his NFL career, but injuries and other drafted players left him as the odd man out in that organization."

JAG

And that why the Jets suck. Making corners the odd man out.
