We need to just lock him up now with a team friendly contract. Regardless of Probowler or now, he is our best passrusher by far and it would be a travesty to just let him go to the highest bidder.

They already messed up with Dak's contract, don't mess this up by not signing up to a team friendly deal.

I got ya! I thought you were saying that Gregory needed super bowl caliber players around him to make the pro bowl.. LOL..
That was why I mentioned what a difference Charles Hailey made back in the day. It was my way of saying that if Gregory
ends up being a beast he could have a similar effect.

As a pure pass rusher, he should be better than Lawrence. He has the speed and the bend to go with good length to disengage. If he had not had the marijuana issues, he would have been a first-rounder. Lawrence didn't show ability to be a first-rounder. What he has shown is that he'll work hard to maximize what he has, which makes him one of the better all-around ends in the league. Some Cowboys fans don't seem to appreciate that, though.

Hopefully, both players will play at a high level and even get some help from the interior because that will create even more one-on-one matches for them.

Great points! Gregory's career thus far has been ruined by his inability to follow the league rules and honestly I don't feel to sorry for him, but again, I don't know what kind of mental issues he is dealing with.

One thing I will say about Gregory that people don't discuss is just how intelligent he is. Many don't realize that he is by all measures one of the smartest if not THE smartest guys on our team. All one has to do is listen to him speak to realize how well spoken he really is. We also don't know how well the man can play without the league looking over his shoulder 24/7! Can you imagine how good he might be playing a full season with the right amount of medication that he needs to stay focused?

If you look at his abilities and his intelligence it's easy to see why he could of been one of the top rated players in the draft and as you said, better than Dlaw.
