I'm sorry, he's clearly, physically done and the FO did the exactly wrong thing extending him, but I get it.

His hand placement is too high, that’s why he’s struggling with leverage. Watch where his hands strike compared to everyone else. You can even see the coach tell him about it in the video. It’s just shocking that this isn’t instinctive for him at this point.

Give him a break. He's feeling the pressure from number 11 breathing down his neck. I will go out on a limb to say JS will have his best season this year from the pressure. I think this is what needed for him to get back on track. The last three DC didn't teach him very much.
