At any level.. Why do people think they ice pitchers' arms after every game they throw? Do folks think it just looks cool having an ice pack strapped to your shoulder? I'm happy they're being cautious with their 40 million dollar investment. If you are actually a fan of the team you should be as well.
well if you follow both sports closely, how many QB'S have TJ surgery in a year, and how many pitchers? The pitching motion is drastically different and more taxing than it is for a QB. Not many pithcers have a long career unless they adapt to a loss in velocity, and pitching angle changes. Cautious is fine, but anything wrong Dak is a red flag right now.....

If true that his throwing motion is altered a tad, then I can see how his arm would be a little sore. Maybe he doesn't have the full confidence in his leg yet.
That is what it seemed like to me.

Don't worry, everything is fine, the crackerjack Cowboy doctors have things all under control......two weeks from now, Dak needs Tommy John Surgery, out for the season...
Dr. Jerry will give us an update thru Slater saying he will be fine. If not he will tell us we have the tools to rebuild him. He will be stronger, faster. He will be the $40 million dollar man.

It's going to be a fun year. He's being paid like he's Aaron Rodgers so I'm expecting an Aaron Rodgers like MVP calibre season.

No excuses.
Careful. Aaron Rodgers comps here bring out the worst of the mouth breathers who even though he is a lock first ballot HOFer, will tell you he ain't all that.

What about the implosion before the injury? They were 1-3 and headed down the toilet. In the end Dalton won more games than Dak.
if you couldn't see the difference...then i can't help you.

I remember that implosion. Thinking this 1-3 team is really set up to do big things only to watch them flounder at 4-7 without him. It was quite painful to witness. If only.

These Prescotters really do live in an alternate universe.
oh yes..
the decades of wentzing.

actually not really....he could be over compensating for the ankle and putting more weight on his arm/shoulder, whatever. Have you played any sport after an injury and over compensate for where the injury was? Over reaction is to be expected.

I'm also wondering if Dak tweaked his arm due to a change in his throwing motion due to the ankle?

At any rate I'm not worried. If this were the regular season he'd take some painkillers and just play; knowing Dak.

I think it's more of a "I got paid so I don't have to work as hard anymore" type of thing.
