What kills me about these "experts" is that they want to be right to the detriment of the team. They root for our rookies to suck so they can look right. Wright has looked good...yeah he got burned by Claypool but you could argue he got pushed off anyway.

It was a clear push off imo. He made some plays tonight, and Claypool is a special receiver in the making.

I am liking what I see from the Winnipeg QB too. I say bring one of these Canadian QBs to compete for a backup spot.

Say what you want about it being preseason, but thus looks like a poorly coached team playing a well coached team.

Yup....you can't help but see shades of the crap from last season. Bad special teams.....poor play calling inside the red zone....can't score. Passing on 4th and short....

The 0-16 Lions went 4-0 in the preseason. Let’s calm down on cutting guys cause a guy caught a pass in front of them.

How is this guy in the NFL. He's throwing the football like a Frisbee:facepalm:

I get it but I’m never gonna be a guy to blame a blue chip talent over a historically putrid franchise. It’s like blaming Derek Anderson for Joe Thomas retiring early.

Very few if that QB’s could take the Lions, Browns, or Jags to the level of consistent winning. Especially in a sport where it takes a whole organization to win. For example one could blame Romo all they want for us not winning a SB in his tenure, but the reality is we didn’t have the infrastructure to win big. Anyone could see the physical ability Romo had, but anyone who expected him to win solely due to that is a naive fan.

Stafford is obviously a talented QB, Calvin Johnson isn’t the same statistically if Stafford can’t deliver him the ball like that. Watch those highlight reels man, so many pretty passes. A lot of jumpballs too but wow did Stafford throw some lasers into tight spaces.

I mean people can post highlight reels of Quincy Carter looking good. I know Stafford can throw. But he's had some poor passes in his career and he's been inconsistent. I don't solely blame him for the Lions shortcomings but if they had Aaron Rodgers would they be a worse team? Or the same team? Or better?

I'll happily eat crow if he goes on to have a hall of fame career but I think Stafford is what he is. I feel like Tom Brady is Tom Brady regardless of who he plays for. I feel like Fitzpatrick is who he is regardless of he plays for.

Dave Campo usually dominated the preseason as well. If you're trying to do anything more than watch the young guys play in preseason you're doing it wrong.

Chitty game...just caught up...seems like we just picked up where we left off

:hammer:......the last thing this team needed was to come out and play like we did in 2020. Way to set the standard for 2021. :banghead:
