This game reminds me a lot of the 2018 game versus the Saints.

Dallas was one game above 500 and the Saints were 10-1, with many believing them to be the best team in the league.

But that didn't scare the Cowboys.

They came out and fought and flat out beat them in all 3 phases.

I believe Dallas matched up well against them, particularly because Brees was purely a pocket passer and posed no threat with his feet whatsoever.

Fast forward to the 21 season opener and Dallas is still seen as a .500 team and they will be facing the contending Superbowl Champs who are being led by a 44 year old pocket passer.

Dallas matches up well against the Bucs. If we can get push up the middle by sending Parsons on occasion or if Odi and others can apply pressure often, the defense is going to make it very difficult for Brady and the Bucs to score points. Additionally, in years past, Brady tends to start off the season slow and gets better as the season progresses. Dallas is fortunate facing him game 1.

Dallas is going to win as long as the offense doesn't turn the ball over and makes a couple of plays.

Go Cowboys

If we can put Brady on his butt things will fall into place.
