Twitter: Dak: Oh, I’m back

You can't let these idiots get away with claiming the team was 1-4 at any point last year. The fact is the Cowboys have never been 1-4 at any point in Dak's career and they never were last season.. Yet some morons continue to claim they were..
Amen brother.

Hey, I get it. He had a historically bad defense but he's supposed to be the man. He says he's the man. He says he deserves top QB pay but he sure didn't play like it in the first half of those games when he allowed his team to fall hopelessly behind.

But the good news is he's back.

Which games were these? Dak brought the team back to take the lead with 4 minutes left against Seattle, to a win against ATL, and to within 3 points against Cleveland with 4 minutes left then of course to a lead and a stranglehold on the game against NY.. You clearly have a different definition of "hopelessly behind" than most others do.

These people will exclude Dak's rookie year and say he went 1-4 but then will tell me they not trolling lol.

In 2017 Dallas started the season 2-3 under Dak.....in 2018 Dallas started 2-3 under Dak.....in 2019 Dallas started 3-3 under Dak.....in 2020 Dallas started 2-3 under Dak.

While not 1-4 (depending how people interpret the game in which when Dak was hurt last season as Dallas was 1-3 up to that point but Dak gets credit for the win as the starting QB), the point is that in the last 4 of Dak's seasons, Dallas has started at or below .500 in the first 5-6 games of the season for a combined record of 9-12 to start 4 of the last 5 seasons.....which is not a good way to start the season.

LOL...you guys....

He accused someone of wishing Dak gets hurt. OoOOH...he put a question mark behind it...how cute.

Then you guys "play the victim".

God god the irony.
It's crazy.

I wish there was a river in Egypt named The Lusional, So I could say, Delusional isn't just a river in Egypt.

You're wrong, but as I've told you several times in the past, you lack awareness. I've been a Dak supporter for years, until recently just to frustrate you because you couldn't tolerate people questioning whether or not he would be in the best shape of his life following a major injury and/or whether it is a cliche. Even telling you what I am doing, you still keep up your antics. But, it's OK. I can play this game with you for as long as you like.

 Are you serious????

After reading this thread, and many others, I genuinely don't understand what some of you guys are doing on a Cowboys forum. You seem to delight in hating the team, the owner, the QB, the RB, the coach, etc., etc. I'm not saying anyone should blindly love every player that plays for their team but I don't see how you follow the team closely enough to spend this much time on a message board and still have such terrible takes on Dak. He has improved drastically since 2016, is as fierce a competitor as their is, and plays his tail off. I'm not saying he's perfect but anyone who thinks putting up over 30 a game regardless of wins and losses isn't good enough is insane. He's also the QB of your (supposedly) favorite team, so at worst you should say "I've seen him have ups and downs and want him to win us a championship." Instead many of you actively root against him, laugh at him, and hate him so much that there's a 13 page thread just over him saying "I'm back".

I bet the majority of the trolls/Cowboys haters on here are just bitter, broke losers who suck at life, sucked at their own career, and have nothing better to do than sit on a forum all day and blast all of the players on their supposed favorite team. Misery loves company.

Dallas was behind 29-10 vs. ATL (due in part to turnovers).....behind 30-15 shortly into the 3rd quarter vs. SEA......and behind 41-14 to start the 4th quarter vs. CLE......the point I think the poster was making was that the Dak led offense did nothing in the first half or more against those teams thereby setting up an enormous deficit. While Dallas did come back somewhat in those games (winning 1 out of 3) you have to admit that it was almost too little too late with the opposing defense playing more prevent defense.

...or perhaps it's more than likely loyal Dallas fans who have grown tired and jaded toward an organization that has failed in the last 25+ years......but I'm sure your approach that they are "bitter, broke losers who suck at life, sucked at their own career, and have nothing better to do than sit on a forum all day and blast all of the players on their supposed favorite team".....oh, and you are posting on the forum too so does that description include yourself?

Do you not think every single Cowboys fan is jaded? I've rooted for this team all my life and barely remember the Super Bowl dynasty years. I've felt all the crushing, stomach turning misfortune and losses over the past 25 years. That has literally nothing to do with how you express your outlook on the team, how you discuss/view the players, or how you apply common sense football knowledge to your takes on the team and players. People like you just crap all over everything no matter what it is, and seem to delight in doing so. So, all I can gather from people doing that about their supposed favorite team is that they are miserable in life and this is their only outlet to project that misery. I'm working from home and still only get on this forum a few times a week, and I love the team. Some of y'all do this schtick 24/7 on every single thread. Touched a nerve there, did I?

I don't care about his personal stats.

Show me that you can consistently lead us to win games when everything isn't going right, show me you can lead us to the playoffs without Zeke winning the rushing title, show me you can play well consistently against good defenses, and show me that you can lead us to wins in games that we have no business winning.

He has show YOU the past 5 years, but he's not shown me anything that matters. If talk is cheap, then your words can be considered dumpster diving level to me.
They are not his personal stats they are his NFL stats live with it.
