Twitter: Dak: Oh, I’m back

Dallas was behind 29-10 vs. ATL (due in part to turnovers).....behind 30-15 shortly into the 3rd quarter vs. SEA......and behind 41-14 to start the 4th quarter vs. CLE......the point I think the poster was making was that the Dak led offense did nothing in the first half or more against those teams thereby setting up an enormous deficit. While Dallas did come back somewhat in those games (winning 1 out of 3) you have to admit that it was almost too little too late with the opposing defense playing more prevent defense.

No Dallas did not "come back somewhat." They TOOK THE LEAD with 4 minutes left against Seattle.. That is not almost, not somewhat.. that is ALL THE WAY BACK.. Only to have the defense bend over and give it right back. They WON the game against ATL.. Again.. not almost, not somewhat, ALL THE WAY BACK. Cleveland? They scored 24 points in 10 minutes to cut the lead to 41-38. Just a LITTLE resistance from the defense and there is no doubt that too turns into ALL THE WAY BACK. No saying Dak or the offense were perfect on either day.. but in each case they did enough to give us a chance to win despite the defense getting bent over like a $20 *****. For the record I have stated many times that I do NOT want to see a repeat of Dak throwing for 450 yards a game.. I want him passing for 200-250.. managing the game and leading us to wins. But he can't do that if the defense is going to keep giving up 36 a game. To my knowledge no QB in the history of the NFL has led a team to scoring 37 a game so that automatically renders the "the QB needs to figure out how to win these games" argument null and void. Play better defense and the offense has to take fewer chances and the turnovers will come back down.. Again .. complementary football.

Then why did you ask....

"where did you come up with 7? "

Because you didn't know it was 7 turnovers?

You are playing games now.

"two interceptions were at the end of the game desperation throws that were intercepted in the end zone at the very end of the game.....where did you come up with 7? he did have 3 fumbles....and yes agreed we can't have fumbles. and our WRs had several fumbles too. and our great highest paid RB had several fumbles...we just can't have fumbles."

Yes...I know other people fumbled but we aren't talking about them are we? Typical blame others and distract.
I am not blaming others...you are deflecting blame from others....do their fumbles not count or impact teams? Zeke fumbled twice against Atlanta...I guess it doesn't matter...because you want to point fingers at Dak. Dalton Schultz fumbled against Atlanta...but hey, it wasn't his fault...but hey look at Dak....zeke fumbled against Cleveland...nah, its Ok, it doesn't matter.

so you are putting as much emphasis for the purpose of your argument on the last second interceptions to end the games....you must be a stat guy not a what really happened kind of guy

If you haven't noticed...Rocko is involved in every one of them. When do you call HIM out? I don;t see it.
I have called out Dak over the top supporters over the past couple of years, etc...

but you are so obsessed with Rockport you can't see the forest because of the trees....let your anger and hatred go my friend. not good for you

I'm jumping in to attack?

You made an insulting assumption about wishing a player get hurt....then call ME the attacker.

WT....
I wished him hurt...or was it you? I asked a question...you know Dak isn't a rookie. in his 5th year now...he has been chased by big OL men...you are welcome for that reminder....

LOL...you guys....

He accused someone of wishing Dak gets hurt. OoOOH...he put a question mark behind it...how cute.

Then you guys "play the victim".

God god the irony.
according to wikipedia

A question mark (?) is a punctuation symbol placed at the end of a sentence or phrase to indicate a direct question, as in: She asked, "Are you happy to be home?" The question mark is also called an interrogation point, note of interrogation, or question point.

so yes it was a question......but don't get your shorts all tied up in a knot...its not good for your balls

The "reminder" has nothing to do with what we were talking about.
At this point....I give....here's the towel. You've complelty muddled and confused the issue...there's really no point now.

A real pro.
.

You jumped on yet another thread to attack me. Get over me.
You think pretty highly of yourself...amazing since you are so wrong so often.

You can kid yourself so easily....impressive!

I jumped in yet another thread just for you, eh? Lol...dude. yer nuts.

so you saying he is going to get chased by a 300lbDL man, and that putting on a red shirt in preseason doesn't count.... as if he has never been chased by a lineman, or sacked or run in an NFL game.....just reminding you that he has been in the league for 4+ years......if anyone knows about being chased by a lineman, its him...heck of a lot more than you will ever in life, unless you are being chased after a heist....

You can't let these idiots get away with claiming the team was 1-4 at any point last year. The fact is the Cowboys have never been 1-4 at any point in Dak's career and they never were last season.. Yet some morons continue to claim they were..
are you surprised. pippy always makes up stuff...some of the others do to and then they reference each other as source of truth....that's funny

In 2017 Dallas started the season 2-3 under Dak.....in 2018 Dallas started 2-3 under Dak.....in 2019 Dallas started 3-3 under Dak.....in 2020 Dallas started 2-3 under Dak.

While not 1-4 (depending how people interpret the game in which when Dak was hurt last season as Dallas was 1-3 up to that point but Dak gets credit for the win as the starting QB), the point is that in the last 4 of Dak's seasons, Dallas has started at or below .500 in the first 5-6 games of the season for a combined record of 9-12 to start 4 of the last 5 seasons.....which is not a good way to start the season.
is it the first 5 games you are measuring or the first 6. seems like you are flip flopping.

I need them all back all 53 and coaches....I need the Players to have intensity and heart. IF yes IF we lose to the Buccs it better be a war and every person leave it on the field, no clean jerseys. I am not worried about Dak but he can not do it by himself (no other QB can either) so I NEED THEM ALL BACK...Dak, Zeke, Tyron, Collins,Martin, the 3 amigo's, Tank, RG, LVE, Diggs ,The Saftey of the month club, DT who have no name, Brown, PARSONS (sick em kid).....MM, KM, DQ, and the Assistant crew......LETS GO COWBOYS!!!

what I find quite interesting is that you completely absoved Defense in all of this. in essence the defense gave up 29, 30 and 41 points in half or 3 quarters of a game....on the other hand the offense scored 10 at half and 15 and 14...those extrapolated to a full game would put dallas in the 8 to 15 range in scoring....but the defense would be all time worst...your argument is that why didn't dallas score every possession to account for defensive ineptitude........so just be a man, come out and say I don't like Dak and I like to point fingers at him and blame him for everything and ignore everything else....that would show integrity and smarts...

Context-

Let me guess- saying most Cowboys fans think Dak is good doesn't mean most fans respect him. This the semantic game you're playing?
How do you say your comprehension skills are wack without saying it? Semantics….go take a nap I mean that from the kindness of my heart….

Tyron , Collins and Martin need to limit the chasing...hence we need them back too.....

Typical. Get caught strawmanning a poster, get called out, have it presented for all to see, then get pissy. Just take your "L" like a man. It's not even a big deal.

I mean, you're really trying to come off as reasonable and, "above the fray," but when confronted with a minor, silly mistake, you can't just own it and move on. No wonder you spend so much time talking to those you deem, "trolls." You guys need each other.
