Talk to me after that first test comes back negative.

Yeah thats the key. If he tested today and it was negative, that would swing things dramatically...

Im guessing they kept saying highly unlikely earlier this week because they weren't sure he would make it to the testing stage in time.

I don’t believe that’s possible anyway. It’s over 900 air miles and the helicopters with the furthest travel distance is around 450. Yes they can stop for gas but this is just stupid. Jerry’s jet or a executive rental.

Most typical helicopters can fly 2.5 to 5 hours. Range can vary depending many factors, weather and wind of course. But also weight. And do the have a reserve tank.
So yeah 250 miles to 450, and some as much as 600 now days with reserve fuels.

Usually they can fly at speeds 175 to 190 mph and a few can push 200, maybe more by now. I have been out of that business for 7 years now. I used to help design helicopters, but mostly military, with a little bit of commercial.

though my real passion was helping to design aircraft engines.

Just wondering if one were to wet a tissue with isopropyl alcohol and give the nostrils a real good cleaning, like right before the swab, what’s the probability … ha ha.

Eat some sushi with extra wasabi and have some horseradish. Clean those sinuses out real good

Give the netti pot a try with a saline solution.
Came out today that the Broncos were employing some interesting maneuvers to avoid the protocols last season.

So you're telling me there's a chance?

False positives are a thing. Last season before camps, they tested all the players in the league. Something like 77 came back positive. All retests came back negative.

~ 2% false positive rate.

The first retest is the one that will tell us.

From what I understand it has more to do with testing negative twice and then getting to Tampa since the team flight is on Wednesday and he won’t be able to test twice prior to the flight, so he would have to come separate… if it were a home game for Dallas there would be less of an issue as long as he tested negative (twice).

Jerry could always fly him to the game in his private jet if necessary.

Povidone Iodine nasal wash.

I gargle it if I've been in a crowded area with poor ventilation.

The dude actually had symptoms. If they are anything like what I had a few weeks ago, he won’t be full strength at all.
