Same Ol Cowboys

-Penalties on the final drive, negating chances for us to score a TD and win

-Calls not going our way (non-pi)

-Defense letting opposing QB march right down the field and win the game

-Too many FGs and not enough TDs

Different year, different coaching regime…Same Cowboys
Too many field goals and too many dumb mistakes. But this team should be considered the favorite to win the NFC Least

Held TB to what, 10 points in the second half? Took the lead late. 7 points not on the board bc of a kicker. Not making excuses and don't have to. No moral victory necessary. This team is going to be really good by midseason, if not sooner. They played a helluva game and fell just short on the road against the world champions led by the greatest player in NFL history.

Wrong. 4 turnovers by the defense isn’t the same old Cowboys. If the PI was called the game was over. The defense battled and did their job. The offense made some mistakes but again everyone expected them to get blown out. Next week will tell you more if it’s the same old Cowboys. Chargers are a good team but not close to Tampa. Dallas loses next week then it’s the same old Cowboys.

Ahh... I guess I have faith in them winning the division at least.

But, it is like Dallas is cursed... Need to put Jimmy in the ROH tonight.
Lift the curse on Dallas please!

Only in Dallas can you have a QB throw for over 400 yards. Have 2x 100+ yard receivers, 4 turnovers, and still FRIGGING LOSE!

Zuerlein better be getting unemployment tomorrow.
Yep. Same ol Cowboys. Losers. Historically bad losers too. I can almost bet there has either never been or very few times been a QB throw for 400 yds and get 4 turnovers in a game and that team lost

One of the best offenses in the league, we took the ball away and made some plays....but there was no pass rush at all.

I am glad that it was a closely contested ball game....just hoping that the loss pisses them off. A lot to be encouraged about, but also a lot to fix. I still think McCarthy is horrible at in game decision making. Bones and his special teams have been crappy for two years. I think Quinn did a pretty good job. Moore had a good game plan for the Bucs.

I look to week 2 with some encouragement.

The sad thing is this. If we were even average on special teams we win. Missed kicks, long returns, and penalties. Awful

Where does Prescott rank throwing TD’s 10 yds or less? It seems like when things are tight and compressed he struggles.

Tough to win games when you have to score 30+.

Not really. "Same ol Cowboys" would've lost by 3 touchdowns.

People have been talking about Tampa going 17-0. They escaped because "Greg the Leg" blew two easy kicks.

Don't be that guy. The better team won. Just take the loss and move on. Don't be a bad loser.

Dak throwing that much was by design, not out of necessity

That doesn't disprove my point. I am not criticizing Dak or the game plan. But the fact is we had to throw to win because we knew that we had to score a lot of points in this game because the defense simply isn't that good. They can't generate any pass rush and they really have a hole at one CB spot.

It's basically the same as last year. Something has to change. The DL has to get better somehow, for example, or it's going to be a lot of shoot outs and tough for this team to get anywhere beyond maybe squeaking out a divisional title in a bad division.
