One of those throws was NOT near a receiver, and Chris Collinsworth almost mentioned that, but caught himself right before he said it was intentional grounding. And this was the play before the refs changed the rules of the game to fit some wrestling cage match where elbows to the throat are allowed. After those plays, the refs pretended that it was a football game again.

it wasn't grounding and its no different than what you see every week in the redzone when qb's just air mail balls out of the end zone to live for another play...in and out of the pocket.

Its not intentional grounding. Intentional grounding is “if a passer, facing an imminent loss of yardage because of pressure from the defense, throws a forward pass without a realistic chance of completion.” Brady was not under pressure, so he’s free to throw the ball wherever he feels like.

Right before those 3 "throw aways" Brady went downfield for Brown vs Brown, he was under pressure and heaved it downfield and no receivers was within 20 yards. That should have been intentional grounding.

Also, earlier in the game one of the Bucs LBers ripped his helmet off of his head and slammed it into the ground, while still on the field. Isn't that the ole Emmitt Smith rule and should have been a personal foul. They even showed it on the replay, no mention by the announcers nor was a call made.

that would have been a terrible ticky tack flag if they had called that against David giving us free points. just as stupid as the call against Brice Butler in 2016 against Green Gay. I hate double standards, but ticky tack flags aren't the answer.

LOL, no kidding. And other than Armstrong getting Brady's arm once, they never came close enough for a stupid roughing the passer penalty. You scratch him and you get called out.
