Going to be tough avoiding 0-2

In a million years I never thought Herbert would be this good....I saw him his senior year look absolutely HORRIBLE in a game at ASU against a very average defense....thought he would be another Josh Rosen. Boy, was I wrong....we could be in big trouble.
What concerns me is the Cowboys having 11 days off. They haven’t been very good coming off long weeks. If they come back looking lethargic they’ll end up getting beat. I see this being a pretty critical early season game they need to win if they’re going to be a good team this season. They can’t keep digging themselves holes early, they need to get on a run and win some games to gain confidence.
I think we will be fine. Under Garrett, we never came out prepared in week 1. Barring dumb coaching/personnel, we did look ready to play this week. McCarthy might suck on game day, but at least we look prepared to play.

Chargers and Herbert looked solid today at Washington. Justin is the real deal. A throwback drop back passer. He threads the needle. He is definitely carrying his team.

Very impressive opening to sophomore season . He performed as billed . His receiver duo is among the best in the league.

And they can play some defense. We have our hands full going to LA with our secondary . Will be tough avoiding 0-2.

I thought at home WFT would handle them . Did Fitzpatrick get injured ? In DFW area the Bills Steelers were on opposite the Eagles Falcons didn’t see a minute of LA Wash .

Negative? Do you thinking will be easy avoiding 0-2?
I don't look at it like that ....sounds crazy coming from a former coach, but I look as this as entertainment and just take it one week at a time.......I just really enjoy watching the games and forgetting about all the BS for about 4 hours a week.

I definitely feel more confident than I did before Thursday night. But after watching Herbert and Chargers today feel they are legit and will be much tougher out.

And that’s fine . Do what works for you . But some of us enjoy analyzing and discussing every aspect and worrying about the upcoming game. For us it’s more than just entertainment for 4 hours a week.

Damn......negative people really piss me off.....
He forgot to mention the red int and fumble into the end zone
And the fact the skins was playing their backup to backup Fitzpatrick
He’s a very good young QB but they ain’t winning next week with 20 points

Remember Washington was a 1 point dog at home so Chargers were favorite to win.

Yes, Fitz went out in 1st half. I have Sunday ticket.

I don't think they looked that great at all.. Very beatable if our Defense plays half way decent. Their Defense isn't half as good as Tampa's...IMO WFT's defense isn't as good as last year just by watching the first game. They didn't look great.

Egirls certainly didn’t look like the last place most were predicting. These 3 at home might be tougher than the schedule originally predicted. And then before Bye a trip to New England.

An 0- 2 start could be tough to reach .500 before bye.

It's too early. Atlanta looked horrid. Worse than I could have expected. They may only win 3 or 4 games this season..

So the Chargers are a good team and the rumor is Dak can't beat good teams. So we'll just see about that.
No, no, no. That is not how it works.

If the Chargers win then the Chargers are a good team.
If the Chargers lose, then the Chargers are a bad team.

Got it?

Run The ball. Easier with zack and no Collins than Collins and no zack.

Yeah the Tickets nice to have , Heineke had some moments last year I guess if they had to go with him for a stretch it could be worst. When Cowboy fans think of draft problems just think the WFT drafted a “ franchise “ QB round one who’s no longer in the zip code . That hurts .

If Dallas would just stop kicking field goals in first quarter we could win some games.

Wait........ I thought we were supposed to be blaming the defense. Or was it the coaching or Jerry? I'm so confused sometimes.

What I do know is I'm not allowed to blame a certain person, because he never does anything wrong and is the most perfect QB the world has ever seen.

Chargers are a talented team and have had the Cowboys number for quite a while. This is a game that Cowboys should win if my declaration meter is calibrated properly. Should be a good, close game.
