Monday afternoon so many excuses I’ve read

What am I the only one. Gronkowski. I don’t know who was responsible for him. But in my opinion he single-handedly killed us. Yeah I know Brady was the one throwing him the football LMAO. But everything I saw, All game long was just part of playing football. Gronkowski could’ve been stopped. Did we even plan for him
Unreal that didn’t seem to hear his name most of the game and towards the end he blows us up. Not saying he didn’t have more catches but the end I was really paying attention. We got no pressure when it counted. We needed pressure.

IMHO, that’s a big reason Brady’s been so successful. You can’t really go “all in” on any one method. You have to have the perfect balance, and adapt in a split second, and with Brady that’s next to impossible. He’s so smart and experienced. He gets rid of the ball so fast, and has plenty of reliable targets he has a mental connection with.

In order to have a plan to handle Brady with Gronkowski and Evans and Godwin and Brown any team has to have the players. The Cowboys did not have a pass rush to help the secondary and if not for the 4 to's, the score gets a little more lopsided.

If you accept that going from where this defense was in 2020 to where it is now and progressing through the 2021 season is a work in progress, the first step against that offense was a tough one.

This week, Prescott has to outduel Herbert and the Chargers have a better DL than the Cowboys. Bosa v Steele could get nasty and take one of our TE's out of the pattern to provide protection. Elliott's blocking might be his best feature in this game.

Who the heck am I blaming now. LMAO.There’s only one reason why we lost that game. Because we didn’t have the ball last. Make no mistake about that
no, it was coaches mismanagement of the game that cost us the game....we should have left almost no time on the clock....we got the ball, 3.5 minutes left. we should have used up 2.5 to three minutes...instead we used 2 and left too much time on the clock. both zeke and CD ran out of bounds, which would have used up another minute or cost tampa two timeouts. coaches should have talked and told the players to stay in bounds, they obviously didn't or if they did, we have the dumbest players on earth....you noticed Cooper, making catches, maing runs, but staying in bounds and going down to keep the clock going....coaches lost the game, make no mistakes about that

And that comes with practice. And the fact he is accurate when it counts. There is a split second where a pro WR is open and he has played so long he knows the windows and routes. I have heard receivers he played with before say that brady said just turn your head when your supposed to and open your hands. They do and the ball is right there. And he has played with gronk for so long that gronk even knows open your hands and catch it. Lol. Sounds simple.

I will hate it if we don’t try to run a little more. But if we have to be pass heavy this week then I am hoping to do better in the red zone. Or hit from out side it. Not having Gallup will hurt. Lamb has to step up and make some tough catches. Last week he had a hard catch to make that went through and results in a pick..

The cap space and draft capital leans heavily towards the offense.....you cannot be that PATHETIC in the redzone. That is your ball game folks. You make the most money....you have to carry the team. The Head Coach is an offensive guy....Dak is paid like one of the best....Zeke is paid like one of the best...Cooper is paid like one of the best...Cee Dee was a 1st round pick....the OL is paid well...the onus is on them.

And Gronk is STUPID!

I wonder if Dak mentioned that in the huddle.

excuses? Dallas did a lot of good things in the game including 3 turnovers (I know 4 turnovers but Hail Mary before halftime not a factor) Offense moved the ball and put up points Cowboys in the end did not do enough to win this game and need to clean up somethings. Overall Dallas was expected to get their butts handed to them in a lopsided loss and that did not happen. I take no pleasure in not coming up with the W but I do think there is plenty they can build off of.

I’m sure they planned for Elliot.
“Offensively, it’s Ezekiel,” Arians said when asked the one player the Bucs need to stop. “Because it all starts with him and that big offensive line. They’re gonna try to run the football, so we gotta get them in a one dimensional game there.”

they are the best run defense in the league so the recipe for beating them is through the air they are weaker there. We played well enough to win. Make a couple of kicks and get a PI call its game over. We cant keep getting 3 instead of 4 whether that falls on Dak or Moore, receivers or whoever but that's a problem that needs fixed

I actually thought it was a great game. Much better than I expected coming out of the gate. No I was still pissed Zuerlein. is the least of my worries At least a strong safety try to intercept the ball late in the fourth quarter. He didn’t pull up Byron Jones
are you voice-to-texting using a plastic cup and a string?

Then they planned for the wrong thing because we clearly went into the game with a plan to throw the ball instead of running against their rush defense. It’s called game planning and being smart.

I agree....we make just a few key plays that were very make-able we win.

If Lamb is indeed a star or even future superstar...he MUST catch that fantastic pass from Dak.

Just so you know...I only posted that to verify the Bucs game plan was indeed to stop Zeke. We knew going in what they intended to do and rightly went away from it.

I won;t blame zeke for it....if we rewatch the game...zeke was giving it up to keep Dak safe. That's worth his weight there, given our O-line situation. Pollard got totally plowed...though he DID make his block...good job.

Worse than excuses, I've seen people celebrating like the Cowboys won.
This organization has celebrated “moral victories” for years. Remember that close loss to the Broncos in 2013? Jerry was actually “proud” after the game. I think he even used the term moral victory.

This entire organization screams “excuses” when the guys who have led the FO for a qtr century are allowed to make the same mistakes over and over and over without any change. That’s allowing excuses to the max.
