I can't sit back and not say anything. Explain to me again what makes Kellen Moore qualified to be a head coach in the NFL?

Because as I look at the "steps" we have traditionally heard that one must take to become a NFL head coach....Kellen Moore has a LONG ways to go!!!!!!

What makes Kellen Moore qualified is if some team wants him as their head coach. There are no other qualifications. If a team want someone more seasoned, then he'll be the head coach for another team that doesn't have that requirement.

I guess it's a good thing the Rams didn't think about "steps" when they hired Sean McVay at age 30.

Reminds me of when Garrett was still our OC and he interviewed for the Ravens HC job. He knew he wasn't going to take that job but it was a good experience for him to see how an NFL team interviews for a head coaching job, plus it was a nice free quick trip for him and his wife to get away for a couple of days. Garrett had a gentlemen's agreement with Jerry that he would be Wade Philips's replacement whenever that may be. I'm hoping Kellen Moore has the same gentlemen's agreement with Jerry to replace MM.

What are the qualifications of being head coach? Was Campo qualified to be head coach? NO

Was Garrett? Certainly NO.

Moore's offense has been top 5 since having full reigns of calling the offense.

Unlike Garrett and McCarthy.

no one has ever said what you 'must' do. just what builds a resume.

I think Moore is another Garrett. BiG Mac Mike needs to go but Moore is not the replacement. I can remember these same type threads heralding in Jason Garrett when he first was mention during the Wade days. I remember the past and damn well don't wanna repeat it:facepalm:

OMG! He's not even a good offensive coordinator. He's ranked 21st in the league. Garrett's clone for Pete's sake. Be careful what you wish for.

Dang Jerry paid him too much not to leave. He turned down Boise State too.

He was also supposedly offered the job at his alma mater, but Jerry extended his contract by giving him like 50 billion dollars. Does Jerry even want him to leave?
