Reminds me of when Garrett was still our OC and he interviewed for the Ravens HC job. He knew he wasn't going to take that job but it was a good experience for him to see how an NFL team interviews for a head coaching job, plus it was a nice free quick trip for him and his wife to get away for a couple of days. Garrett had a gentlemen's agreement with Jerry that he would be Wade Philips's replacement whenever that may be. I'm hoping Kellen Moore has the same gentlemen's agreement with Jerry to replace MM.
Hopefully its not another decade of the Garrett era debacle

And they picked someone else. A defensive coach whose defense is about to get rolled.

Kellen’s going to make them regret that choice Monday night.

being a HC and OC are two different things. Ask Quinn, Rivera and countless others. Grass isnt always greener on the other side.

Wonder if Booger gave him a bump when he stayed with the Cowboys? Sometimes these guys interview not really thinking about taking the job but their agents know most of them get a bump when they decide to stay.

Garrett could have gone to ATL or BAL and DET if he hadn't shunned them first, figured out he didn't have a date to the prom and scurried to Motown with flowers in hand.

Some people, a lot actually, are much better coordinators than they are HCs.

Nick Sirianni is an offensive coach. He was the Colts offensive coordinator, and a QB coach/WR coach in his prior jobs.

He is a threat to McCarthy at Dallas. Dallas is probably McCarthy last stand.

This was already known and discussed here back when it happened....speculation on whether they were just trying to get further insight into our offense or if they had legitimate interest.
