Jerry Jones reaction to clock managment

Only thing I would have called would have been a Elliot hand off or QB sneak up the middle to keep the ball placement in the middle for the kicker.
We would have had to clock it and run out the FG team. Probably would have been better, but it worked out...Whew!

Between the lines is MM got his asperations chewed out!

Jones may not have had an issue with McCarthy's clock management but he was definitely expecting a different set of events to unfold if he admits being surprised.

they had enough time to run multiple plays , not just one.

If they were planning on throwing the ball ten yes multiple plays if you ran it no you would not multiple plays in. As for clock management at the least Dallas did not call the TO until there was 3 or 4 seconds on the clock so that kick would be the last play in regulation.

Correct , another dumb decision was running the ball.

So multiple chances at a sack, int, fumble etc......we won..it worked out, I'm sure it wasn't the only mistake in the game.

they did win. I’m not complaining about winning. Kicker bailed them out. You acknowledged it was a mistake, definitely not the only one. And we move on.
