We almost beat them last year with DeNucci as QB, running behind Zach Martin, while spotting them a lead because Moore was calling HS plays for the whole first half.

They suck… The East is horrible and our talent is far superior to any in the division. The only guy that is probably worthy to be mentioned in the same breath as our skilled positions is McLaurin and yes, I haven’t forgotten overrated Barkley.
What does last year and DiNucci have to do with steamrolling a division rival? Zero.

We did what we needed to do.

I don't think the Eagles are a great measuring stick at this point, but good teams should dismantle bad teams and that's exactly what happened. I will say Eagles d looked very good the first 2 weeks, demolished a not so good Falcons team and hung with the 49ers who should be a playoff contender. Every team matches up differently though.

Just happy to get a W against a division rival!

I was looking forward to seeing what the sports analyist were going to say this morning or even the power rankings (which I get has no baring, that's the College football fan in me) So before the game, it was going to be this powerhouse offence vs an agile QB. It was going to be close. Even some (myself I admit included) almost had them losing. With all the trash talk that the Beagles started early on, Dallas beat them and beat them convincingly. SO NOW! "It's just the Eagles" COME ON MAN! Give them some credit. Let's be honest, 7 points was in trash time (really 14) and another 7 was a gimme from Dakota. This game SHOULD have been 50+ to 7.. ok.. keep us under the radar.. That's where we like it.

Remember after the Eagles won week 1 and we lost, they were at the top of the NFC East? And Hurts and that offense was for real? Lol. That's how it works. Now that their offense has been exposed the last 2 weeks and we beat them down bad, it's now "just the Eagles". It also was "just the Chargers" last week until they then beat KC last week. Most of the national media won't give us props and that's fine with me. Just keep proving it on the field.

I mean it was just the eagles. But Dallas did what good teams do to bad teams

In fairness to the Eagles.. They looked really good against the 9ers at times last week.

Dallas just looks like one of the best teams in the NFC. Top 5 for sure.

Rams Bucs Cards then maybe Packers/Cowboys

Why does anyone care what others think or say? The level of dislike or like of analysts rises and falls with observations about the Cowboys. First off, most of that is scripted and they have a part to play.

This sport has a playoff system that decides everything so what anyone thinks about this team or any other doesn't matter. This time last year, anyone on Tampa Bay to win it all?

I was very happy that the Cowboys went out and took care of business. We were expected to win and they did and did so in convincing fashion. After listening to sports talk yesterday before the game I knew this was a no win game for the Cowboys. You win no big deal, you lose and the sky is falling. So Cowboys did what they were supposed to do and I enjoyed very second of it. Been a while since I could sit back and relax heading into a 4th qrt knowing this game was over.
This is a good post. Things are clearly different from recent past teams. The offense is unstoppable, even in the red-zone, but more striking is the defense. There are guys all over the roster coming up with plays.
This team is different.

The eagles offensive line just has too many injuries now, and it doesn’t look like it’ll get better.

This defense was fun to watch last night, and if it can stay consistent, we’re definitely top 5.

It's OK. It is clear now the division is the Cowboy's to lose. They need to ensure there is no let down and then need to make noise in the playoffs.

Every game is a measuring stick of sorts. Just have to understand what's being measured.

Eagles were in complete disarray last year, particularly with the FO and HC controversy. The Sporting News had them 4th in the division. Even the betters had them to finish fourth. Everybody had Dallas winning the division and pretty much everybody had the Eagles last. They have a first year HC and DC and average QB, that many people believe is clearly over-rated, which is why they got Minshew.

This was WITHOUT the injuries to their OT and DE. They lost their LT Thursday to a knee sprain and Dillard, his replacement was considered their worst Player in training camp. And they refused to run the ball.

If anything, the “belief” in the Eagles after two games was pure hype, not reality.
