Oh, I'd love it if it is. Can't stand the dude.
2022 Dead Cap: $8,000,000
2023 Dead Cap: $11,000,000
2022 Cap Savings: $19,000,000
Yeah, but you think everybody is a JAG, and between JAG's and Jerry your keyboard has a a J button wore to a nub.Oh, I'd love it if it is. Can't stand the dude.
That's literally every player in the league. Nobody gets paid and gets better as they approach their late 20's lol.One can only hope and pray! I’m tired of having players who underperform after getting paid.

And the Jones' son that likes to bargain bin shop so...So basically your not saving anything when you consider that you have to pay someone else on the DL--that's likely not as good.

Inferior talent and more rollover cap room.
yaaaaaaaaay...

Word up.You have Parsons, Odigi and Gregory on the DL now with Gallimore coming back
That money is better off going to Gallup, C. Wilson, Neal, Kearse, Kazee or other players on 1-year deals.
Not really. He cost 27 million against next years cap to keep. I don't see 27 m in value there. They will bite the bullet and punt him. He's going to be here for another season or two- sorry. His play and reliability may have declined some, but he is still a high quality player at an extremely important position (DL) - an area the Cowboys have been weak at for a long time. This, combined with his contract, ensure he'll be here for a while longer.
Assuming Dallas doesn’t do another restructure on Tank’s deal next offseason, that dead money drops to just $19 million in 2022. That means the Cowboys could save $8 million in cap space by releasing DLaw outright or $19 million if they make him a June-1st cut. What are the actual cap numbers on him? It’s hard to throw someone off the team without understanding the full impact.
Could this be the last year we see DLAW…. Why, he is often hurt and after watching Gregory, Odigi and Parson play against the Eagles I wonder if it could slow the progress of these young hungry rookies. IMO DLAWs play has declined, his cap hit is rising which could force the front office to either extend or restructure his contract. Do you get rid of aging often hurt DE or do you simply ask him to take a pay cut or be cut? I mean heck a 2022 June 1st release or trade would net the cowboys $19mil in salary cap savings.
