I have been critical of zeke’s contract.

But man he looks great this season.

so props to him for putting in the work training this off season.

Zeke historically takes 2-3 games to warm up

has he lost speed? Yes, does it matter? no not really you dont need much speed to be effective at RB see the hole and chugga chug your way through and he does his vision is great!

Well, he was in a foot race to the end zone again (finally) and was clocked at 20.66 MPH. As a rookie he was clocked at 21.8 MPH. No excuse today for not getting to “top speed” with the room he had. Sorry, 2016 Zeke scores 6 on that play. That is “losing a step”.

Doesn’t look like he’s lost a step to me. He just needs touches to get going.

Amazing how much better a back can look when he isnt fat and out of shape. And when the Oline is healthy and blowing up the Dline. As far as getting touches, Zeke was on point from the start. As was Pollard.

You get the more touches if you are running like is running now. When you average 2.7 ypc in the first quarter and fumble the ball its a different ball game.

I told everyone he always starts slow but by week 3, he’s a different animal (except last year where he was just simply out of shape; probably thought covid would cancel the season)

What kind of nonsense is that? What kind of back takes 2 or 3 games to warm up? An out of shape one?
