Thoughts about the Giants

well, when you start out 0-3 with two last second losses, you don’t see a whole lot of clapping on the sidelines. But I did notice the cameras showed him sitting next to Jones immediately after Jones hit Barkley for the 56 yard TD and Jones ran in the two point conversion. You could see how happy Garrett was- knowing that he called both of those plays. And I have to admit, they both were fantastic. Sending Saquon wide and using Engram to freeze the corner allowed for Saquon to run right past the frozen CB pretty much by himself. Gotta give JG some love for that.

And then the plays called in OT shocked many of us. He actually allowed for Jones to attack downfield right from the get go. I couldn’t believe what I was watching. I was wondering if that guy sitting next to Jones on the bench wasn’t Jason’s twin brother.

That’s part of the charm; Garrett will clap through anything, win, lose, or draw.

He’s a clapping psychopath.

You from NY? All these years...never knew that - explains a lot. ; )
IM a loud proud Italian but coming here when i was 10 and playing TX sports has turned me against my roots but yes my mothers side all from NY NY ie Brooklyn area etc and dads side all upstate near orange county and also some have lived most of their lives about 6 miles form the Woodstock areas, hunter mountain etc..

his clappers automatics bro he cant help it this was made for him..lol:clap:

i hope they line up and try to do that stop zeke and pollard even thought he last 3 good defenses we faced could not...sell out the run , then dak can go off like he did against Tampa bay.. he deserves a big day as well :))

dont forget we can throw it all over the lot when needed..

will be a tough division game the first 16mins or so NY will be up for this take down the hated 1st place hot Cowboys team, i dont doubt that but in the end we will slowly pull away lie we did with carolina and the game will end up with DC winning by 10+ unless we lose dak somehow..

Your offense scares me both rushing and passing. Now that your QB and OL are back and healthy, I do not think any team will have its way with your offense. Contain (limit damage) is about the best you can ask for. I fully expect Dallas to score more than 30 points this week….I just hope my boys can match your scoring.

The Giant defense has been the biggest disappointment so far. We all expected them to be much better but I hardly see three and outs and they always allow for scores just before the half and the game. I have no doubt, Dak will shred our secondary up much like Teddy Bridgewater and that kid from WFT did.

38-35

I think if you can attack the oline, it takes away their deep play and Barkley’s explosiveness.

It seems as though long drives are tough task to ask from them.

They are the worst team in the division.

But Division games are a crap shoot.

Hopefully we stomp them like we should.
yo what happened to the milk carton homie RG tore it up :)) need to get the crow prepared you like it rare, medium or well done LOL

I'm not piling on today. Sorry it didn't work. I appreciate his endless efforts but, he is a cooked ginger this week. It's almost sad...almost!

it truly is trap game, happens to many teams or that quip wouldn't have been coined..dont eat that ny cream cheese..they will be playing their best game all year to beat us i know this, garret will be extra motivated the team knows they might not win 6 games this year and this will be way to knock us down peg..trust me doesnt matter any given sunday applies..
Any given Sunday…I agree. But by no means is this the team that should knock us down a peg. Unless we play down to their competition…

wow, I am totally impressed with your knowledge of my boys. You hit on every one of them. You could have added a few things though, like these:

- their defense has allowed a last second TD every game just before the half this season.

- up until last Sunday Jason Garrett was calling the majority of plays that only allowed for his receivers to run button hooks. He finally listened to Giant fans screaming for him to let the horses run freely, and they did.

- the injuries to WRs, Shepard and Slayton, were a blessing in disguise because that allowed for both John Ross (4.2 speed) and Kadarius Toney (1st round pick) to show what they have. Speed and shifty moves. Combined with Golladay, Daniel Jones finally has some bona fide weapons to throw to, as shown by the 402 yards passing Sunday.

- a huge concern for NY is the fact that their defense has only been able to generate an average of one turnover and one sack per game. This needs to be corrected if they want to win more games.

JG had TO, Dez, and Coop all running button hooks too………maddening!

We cannot ever, under no circumstances, not take a divisional rival seriously.

We are fooling ourselves if we think we can just steam roll this team without having everyone stay locked in and focused.

It's on the coaches and the leaders in that locker room to have our guys ready.
Also remember the giants games always have some fluke turnovers occur giving them opportunities.

example ball bounces off Wittens foot / interception. Clayton breaks off route we lose and giants go on to SB

lets discuss the ugly elephant in the room game 5 last year who was it? where was it ,who got hurt? the ultimate way to even this out of say Martin goes down, tyron goes down or dak goes down..we are far from unstoppable and the only place i see is auto loss is this dak goes out early whos finishing the game?

RUSH! :facepalm::eek:

Crayton broke off root and dropped a easy 3rd down completion that game will forever be the "Crayton game" im still pissed at him..the dude must have went to cabo as well:muttley:

That's where MM comes in.

Your forecast makes sense even to me, and could very well play out as you said…..but I think fans of Washington and New Orleans were saying similar things and look how those two games played out.

Honestly, I’m a little surprised at the success I’m seeing coming from your defense. I expected your offense to excel seeing that everyone got healthy. After last year, I didn’t think you could go from worst defense to pretty decent so quickly. I know you added Dan Quinn and Parsons, the two biggest changes, but I didn’t expect to see your boys getting 2 interceptions every game. I’m excited to see how my boys fare against this rejuvenated defense. I hope they make the game at least competitive and exciting for all the tv viewers.
