The reaction from the average fans is hilarious. A lot of people thought Jaylon was a good LB and they can't believe it. These are the same fans that Jerry has suckered for the last 25 years

Not to toot my own horn, but way back when, when he was signed, it was like me and one other guy who expressed extreme disappointment in signing Jaylon Smith.

People forget, the first year Jaylon played, he was not good; like at all. He was one of the worst players on our defe
RUMOR ALERT: This may have already been mentioned, but Youtuber Mark Holmes says a source told him that Jaylon was a locker room concern, running his mouth too much. I know money was the ultimate reason, but I had no idea that Jaylon was anything but a good teammate. That's if it's even true.

Jaylon Smith's ego is huge. Listen to the guy talk about himself. He is a classic narcissist. I can see why his personality would not sit well with others on the team.

Incredible move. Jaylon’s bad plays certainly outweighed his good ones but I have a feeling this has more to do with a locker room issue. Jaylon is a me first player and saw the writing on the wall. His commitment may have been waning.

Was anyone partying when they let 40 players go after camp?

Has zero to do with Jaylon being fine. To dehumanize someone just because you don't like their ability to play a sport is what a low life does.
This is embarrassing for Jaylon. He isnt some lazy bum who brought this on himself. His inability to play at this level wasnt his choice or due to his own mistakes.

Yes he will be fine. He is a charismatic person who has tons of money and is built like a statue. None of that means he isn't a human or doesn't have emotions.
Maybe if he stopped swiping and brushing off critics....but he sucks and was stealing money

I can see that, the loss if playing time is difficult to swallow for most players.

Looking forward to see how they rotate Cox into the LB mix. Jaylon was VERY fortunate for the commitment the Cowboys made to him from the start. I'm sure he'll walk away knowing that. I wish him well.

This goes to show that Dan Quinn is making personnel decisions and not Jerry.

To us fans this is a blessing. The less we see of Jerry the better.

Jaylon should not have been given that contract in the first place. So no one should feel sorry for him.

Jerry: every time I see Jaylon he's tackling someone 10 yards down field, doing that stupid swipe thing or jumping on the pile. I can't believe I paid him that much money for that!?!?! Stephen how much do we save when we cut him next year? Something like $9mm right???

Stephen: i don't know dad let me check his contract... Holy #%$@... Did you know if he gets injured his next year's salary is guaranteed???

Jerry: dagumbit Stephen i told you to get rid of those injury clauses in the contracts.

Jerry: Jaylon, do you mind coming into my office i got some news to share with you.
As soon as Jaylon leaves the office . . .

Well to be fair, I think teams would be way more scared of that contract (especially the injury guarantee) than the film.

I have no doubt Jaylon will get at least 1 more shot at a much more reasonable salary.

“1 more shot” isn’t saying much.

Yep, so we already see what is transforming. The Jaylon apologists are going to hate on Cox and point out every mistake he makes when he does get out there. They will claim that Jaylon would have made the play.

Cowboys fans...........unreal.

like you with zeke and amari? lol cut the bs man . you talk too much

Nah thats not why us human suck more and more each day.

We laugh at each others failures and then try to justify it by blaming the victim.

It's just sad to see people act so classless. Maybe it doesn't bother you.
