It’s been reported that he wasn’t cut because of his play though. It's hard to say you feel sorry for a guy who loses his job but has collected $31 million. Nevertheless, I do feel sorry for him. I never thought he recovered from his leg injury.
He went from slip-sliding across the field because he couldn't redirect his motion to laboring to even run. It was obviously noticeable.
And watching him evade the hole, take himself out of position and looking generally confused on the field was excruciating.
I wish him well, but this was a decision that was long overdue. And, honestly, I expect our linebacking corps to perform even better. I really think some of those long runs were the result of Jaylon being out of position or not making the play.
He has $31 million to swipe, er, wipe his tears on. He won't have to work for the rest of his life, if he's invested his money wisely.
And THAT is the real clear I view.
Jokes on us though he used 500k of the 31 million the team gave him lol.Dude just paid $500k for the number 9
Why wasnt anyone else making "clean up" tackles?
Hes made a ton of tackles for the team.
No denying his stats.
I’ve been asking that as well…..no answer.
Watch it be New York and he plays Sunday lol
"Reported" being the operative word. It’s been reported that he wasn’t cut because of his play though.
He always does lol…..it makes no sense to me but these guys find anything to complain about lol.Ah. And this idiot has a problem with that?
It’s been reported that he wasn’t cut because of his play though.
Well that part was happening anyway. There is still a 6.8 million dead cap for 2022.
None of this makes any football sense.
There is more to this.
True. But he also got snaps over guys like Cox which leads me to believe it wasn’t just performance based."Reported" being the operative word.
They win and Stephen finds a way to be cheap smh…amStephen is involved with this somehow.
We are finally starting to win again.
And they want to save money.
Or course, there is still a dead cap hit in 2022.
And they still have to pay for 2021.
This is why we dont have nice things. Aka trophies.
I don’t know man lol….he and Daniel have some big runs this year.
Oh not at all. I thought it was because he was coming off injury. I hope he continues to do it.Oh I know but I’m talking in terms of opportunities. Garrett still doesn’t give Barkley enough opportunities with the football.
No just the slants. Most of us know that he was not good, but to give others a pass is slanted. Lawrence, being next on the list only solidifies the backwards thinking of some. Putting him and Jaylon in the same category is ridiculous.
True. But if he is performing at top level, do we even try to promote younger guys like Cox?True. But he also got snaps over guys like Cox which leads me to believe it wasn’t just performance based.
Some rookies (Cox) take longer to learn and adapt to the pro game than others (Parsons). If Cox is now showing them something that says he is ready to get on the field, along with Neal proving he was a LB and now coming back from COVID, then it makes sense. That’s one possible theory. They win and Stephen finds a way to be cheap smh…am
