Listened to it. It's sort of reach. "I talked to the guy next to me" during the sled drill is his source.

Now, it's possible Smith was bummed about his role being reduced and maybe more could leak out from other media heads once the cut is confirmed. But I felt like this was a reach/way to drag the segment.

I think I'll remember Jaylon for that fumble recovery TD he scored.

Other than that he really doesn't have any stand out plays.

I'll remember him more for the swipe and the celebrating literally everything (whether he was involved or not) regardless of the situation more than anything else though.

To be fair he had a very strong 2018. Alot of optimism about him going into 2019. 2019 and 2020 were just SO bad

I wonder what the tone was in the thread when his extention was announced

I'm not going to miss his horrible celebrating. It's almost like he didn't even realize we were trying to win games. More just make a big play and celebrate it.

All of Jaylon Smith’s shortcomings are on the Jones’s and not him.

Outside of his celebrations and letting everyone know what an entrepreneur he is he did everything he could to recover and play after his injury and he just couldn’t do it.

He should be remembered for all the good things he did outside of the football field.

Far greater impact than what he did on that field.

That goalline hit vs Watson was a great play that was referred by Jon M in the clip.

Mostly positive. I mean, I think some regression was expected but Smith and LVE for that matter fell off cliffs after the Rams rushing beatdown.

I’ll remember him as a physical talent that was derailed by injury. Also as a player that didn’t necessarily love the game.

He could coast on talent before the injury, but he needed extra commitment to excel afterwards. We saw that commitment in 2018…but after he got his deal that motivation wasn’t there anymore.

interesting take that smiles in front of camera and different behind the scenes.

i really liked him that rookie LVE year. they were both great. the alvin kamara stop at the goalline in 2018 will be the play i remember him most for. it was a great play. kamara swing pass at the 10, j.smith center of the field and stopped him short.
