So this year who’s the defensive juggernaut? Because I was told the Panthers were the best defense snd Cowboys dominated them. This discussion is about defensive stats.

Who are the best defenses?
At the end of the day I don’t care about how many yards we give up. Tell me how many points we allow or how many sacks we get or how many turnovers we get.

They can only play who's on the schedule, but these games vs non playoff is building confidence. If the defense keeps taking the ball away they will have done their job.

By Football Outsiders stats, the Bills were the best defense they've ever measured through 4 games (with the caveat that opponent adjustments aren't at full strength yet). The Saints and Browns were a distant 2nd and 3rd. The Browns sure didn't look like it today. The Bills, through the first half, have held the Chiefs down pretty well.

Don't have the stats but I'm guessing we are top D without half of the chunk plays. What I'm saying if we can eliminate half of what we're giving up per game, would have a huge impact.

How about we get everyone back, and allow them to play together for a few games before we start picking apart this defense.

How about we understand as long as this offense can put up 32 points per game and have a 100 yard rusher and another 75 yard rusher and a QB tossing three plus TD's per game, the questions about our opponents perhaps need to stop.

How about this team played against Brady, who WILL be a play off team and has a meat eating defense, and without two clear penalties at the end Dallas would be 5-0.

I get it.

But how about the 1972 Miami Dolphins had the statistically third easiest schedule in the history of the league at that time and went undefeated.

I know some will disagree but these fair questions. Don't get me wrong, love the win but I'd be lying if I said the chunk plays we're giving didn't scare the hell out of me. The good news is we have plenty of time to clean it up,

twice in this game I said to myself "Giants are going the length of the field now and its gonna look easy" It turned out to be right both times. The second time they were missing their qb and rb. Its a concern

Agree 100% ......yards doesn't bother me as multiple chunk plays per game. Guess my question is why?
