Wasn’t that PI on AB in the end zone?

I know some think the refs have it in for Dallas which is probably stretching it but in the opposite direction wasn’t that PI on AB in the end zone he seemed to be all over Toney’s back ? Would have given the Giants fresh downs at the one .

Buckaroo up in the booth got the Fox ref expert for his opinion and he thought Toney’s foot gave out and it was a good “ non call “ . Huh ? Really . That’s one that went Dallas way in a big way.

This is the lonely ref thread because we won. Lol.

On the play itself, it wasn't PI. As a DB you can put your hands on a receiver but you can't interfere with the catch by pulling a jersey and the other obvious stuff. Because Brown didn't cause the fall of Toney by a push or nudge, they considered it incidental. Good non-call.

When a questionable call goes against Dallas the crying towels come out. AB did impede him got to watch the tape . I’ve defended AB on this forum took grief I was as happy to see his pick 6 as anyone. But to be a blind cheerleader nah that’s boring .

It was typical contact and Toney slipped. That should never be called.

You probably thought the Daniel Jones hit was dirty too. You come here accusing us of being Homer's but only a Giants homer would say that was PI.

The push off by Amari on his TD catch last week comes to mind also.

It could have been called a ticky-tack PI because Brown did put his hands on him, but Toney slipped down and Brown fell on top of him because of it so it was the right call. There's a lot of contact between the DBs and WRs and officials really have to try to distinguish contact that alters plays from contact that doesn't (for example, a DB can have his hand on the receiver, but if he pulls, turns or impedes him, it's PI). In this case, the contact had little to do with Toney slipping, so no PI.

The proper call was made, or rather not made. The receiver slipped and tried to sell it.

The refs have been pushing the Cowboys since week 1.
Good for us.....

Here is the play. Brown puts his hands on Toney a split second before Toney attempts his turn and loses his footing. There was nothing extra from Brown to cause the fall.

Did you watch the game?

Honest Q: did you once- even for a second- think the Giants were going to win?

The Giants were undermanned. The Cowboys started very sloppy. But @ the end of the day there was a spread beyond 3 TD's that separated the teams. 3.
