The hit Cox made on Jones, frankly I was surprised at how quick Cox was in reacting and getting to Jones and making the stop. Frankly when the play 1st began I thought it would be an easy TD for Jones but Cox closed quickly and made a big hit.

If you remember the 2018 play where Jaylon Smith sprinted to the sideline to stop Watson from getting into the endzone, that's what Cox looked like stopping Jones. Other than the play going to the other side of the field, the biggest difference was that when Jones lowered his head, he hit Cox in the side of his helmet. That impact knocked the stuffing out of Jones.

It's really the first live action I've seen from Cox. But, he certainly didn't look out of place out there. He looks really fast. Once he recognized the play, he made the decision quickly. While I'm never going to be a talent evaluator, he looked promising to me.

He really didn't play that much. I'd say less than 10 snaps which was disappointing to me. He stopped what would have been a TD if Jaylon wasn't cut and was in the game instead on the play he knocked Jones out of the game. Was a clean play on his part as Jones was the one who dropped his head, but his speed and recognition were evident on the play. I think he will get more and more snaps in the nickel going forward.

Jabril's big play yesterday was not a first! I've seen him pound runners in the past. He's no stranger to that, believe me!

Curious with a blow out win why cox only had a mere 4 snaps ?
Thought that late in game and at home, would have been idea to get a bit more.

I'm liking his solid tackling, from the limited amount we've seen of course, but it looks like he arrives with force and takes people down on the spot. That's one of the things I loved about Rolando McLain's game, wherever he met the ball carrier that was the spot the ball carrier went down.

I was not able to watch the game yesterday, had to deal with some PC issues in the afternoon, and was wondering how Cox did with more snaps yesterday.
He played well. He stopped the qb on the goal line and the qb lead with his head and ended up getting a concussion. And he ran someone down on the LOS for no gain. He played very well in his limited snaps.
