Cox is looking promising too. He needs to select better wording on social media.

With how Quinn runs a 2 LB nickel defense, will Cox get the opportunity to play more seeing as how Parsons is a starter and Neal/LVE are above him on the depth chart. With LVE and Neal free agents after this season will Dallas role with Parsons and Cox as starters next season? Obvious it was only 4 plays Cox played against the Giants but he clearly made an impact in the game with the stop of Jones on the goal line. I also agree he needs to let his play do the talking and not his Twitter account.

I do not think anyone hates Dak but some people treat him as if he is exempt from criticism and when people do criticize Dak they get labeled as haters/trolls. I think what many have issue with is the same few constantly feeling the need to post threads showing their Dak love more so then they do their Cowboys love.

I personally have said numerous times this season that Dak is playing much better than expected and that obviously has helped the team get to 4-1. However, I also credit the running game and defense as well because both have played much better than last season and allowed for Dak to throw less (compared to the start of last season) but with more efficiency.

Agreed but at the same time it does make you wonder where the vet voices are on defense that a rookie and a 2nd year player (Diggs) are the ones elevating the defense.....perhaps the front office is realizing that a change in culture/mentality needed to happen and will be weeding out guys that they need to weed out (aka J. Smith, LVE, DLaw?) so as to rebuild the defense into an intimidating one.

Honestly ..... I think this coaching staff is just better at developing players.

I prefer results.We are being hyped and truth is, there are 7 teams right now that are better or just as good. The defense hasn't "arrived" by any measure. We are a work in progress. In the NFL, its always the defenses that carry teams in post season. They travel well teams with defenses. We aint there yet guys. We need 2 hold off on the anointing oil. You heard it here first.

Totally agree. I'm all about taking one game at a time and not talking Super Bowl. That's just nuts.
