I refuse to accept this. No.

And, the next time one of you starts thinking about trading your depth during a hopeful playoff run season, stop it.

Good luck pumping sunshine in this thread. I am doing my best to keep the troops positive. Let me know if you need me to amp it up or if you need reinforcements.
Not trying to be negative, but with a bye coming up, they can give him three weeks off potentially.

They may be cautious and do that, and it may be the right move.

He is monumentally important to any success we expect to have.

It's all a guessing game as none of us his exact status, but usually reports like this are followed with news along the lines of what I mentioned.

Looking at a game with both starting tackles out. Seems like we’ve seen this movie before

When we hear "neck" and "Tyron Smith" it's never good, but we could be only assuming this is related to his offseason surgery and past issues. This could be a completely unrelated thing or even a scheduled follow up as others have suggested.

He might have just gotten a stinger in practice today and is having it checked out just to be safe. Not going to panic.....yet.

Exactly, it could very well be minor and because its a area of concern they are taking every precaution, as they should.

It could be more also. At this point the sky isn't yet falling so we can all take a deep breath and hope for the best.

Oh boy...smh. Not good. He will likely miss the last practice day tomorrow. Then he will be a game time decision on Sunday. I think he will be out. Hope I'm wrong.

Never fails.
Will wait on the results. However the fact he is having one, does this mean he could be out this week regardless.

Why wouldn't it fail? The team keeps thinking he's going to have the same availability that he had in his first 5 years instead of the last 5 years.

There was enough discomfort to go get the MRI. They may list him as questionable tomorrow but I'd say it's unlikely he even gets on the plane to Boston Saturday. Let him rest and hopefully the discomfort/inflammation or whatever is going on quiets down over the next 2-3 weeks(or longer), so we can have him in the latter half of the season.

The Pats were down 4 starting OL last week and three of them were still out as of yesterday. Who knows what they will be trotting out on Sunday.

No one is entitled to a pity party or good cry.

There are numerous back up plans if needed. This train will keep on chugging.

Doesn't Jerry have a weekly radio appearance Friday mornings? Maybe we'll get Dr. Jerry's prognosis bright and early...
