We should be talking about what the ceiling is for this team not Dak.

There is no ceiling without Dak.

If you don’t win championship you suk. What a great model to go by. Gold medal generation I guess.

You’re either #1 or you failed. I’m sure that’s how all of these anonymous fans have done in their lives. Lol

That’s arguable. I’d say Stafford was considered more of a prolific passer.

The fact he had the individual success he did on a dormant franchise speaks volumes.

It’s like how much success do you think Dak would have on the Jets for example.
If Dak was on the Lions with Megatron? He’d have success. You can’t say the Jets because Stafford was never as bad as the Jets.

Dak has played amazing this season but he does have limitations. It’s not about turning Dak into Dan Marino or Tom Brady…we’re a running team and Dak plays best when working off a successful running game.

Dak has been doing his part since 2016. It takes a team to win. Not just 1 player.

So then stop posting threads proclaiming Dak is so great and posting 'his' record when it takes a team to win.

Dak ceiling is Peyton Manning

now will he reach that? Only time will tell and no hes not there right now but he has entered the elite discussion
Payton was and still is cerebral. I haven't heard that description of Dak just yet. Payton could break down and read a defensive real fast.

Literally every media talking head (including former players) is using that description of Dak right now. Saying.. he is reading the defense at the line and changing the play based on what he sees.

Tom Brady's physical prime was in his 20's.

Rayne Prescott is no Tom Brady.

You've been wrong on literally every single Dak take you've ever had. Many are blinded by their pride and arrogance, and you're no exception.

Yea, Dak has developed into a good QB. He had many good qualities from the onset with some weaknesses. I was often a critic myself in some aspects.

While the skeptics have faded they will now focus on the success of the team. And if the team reaches the pinnacle , they may still discount his effectiveness.

What they can’t discount is this team has no potential ceiling without him.

But some fans have more ulterior motives with being right than admitting things have possibly changed and they misjudged.

Dak is a true franchise QB and is not a weak link on this team . He enhances our chances of winning.

I have a legitimate argument. Athletes don't reach their prime in their 30’s.

You dont have a legitimate argument. You're just like LOL Go Cowboys.

No you don't.. One, not all human beings develop physically at the same rate. It's why some guys who are shorter than you in junior high can eventually end up being 6 inches taller than you by the end of high school. Secondly, each sport and even each position has a different "prime" both in terms of how many years in the league it begins as well as how long it lasts. For running backs their best years tend to be ages 21-27. But according to your theory they should just be hitting their prime at 28.. Yet most running backs are out of the league by that age. Only two types of running backs last beyond that age.. Truly great ones and ones who play special teams. But as with most things regarding the human condition, there are only two things that you can apply universally to all of us. And if you're poor enough (or rich enough) you don't even have to pay taxes. It also bears stating that the ability to throw the ball where he wants it is not an ability that fades as a guy goes through his 30's. For a QB the "prime" has almost next to nothing to do with his "physical peak" which is what you're really talking about. Once a guy reaches a point where he can put the ball on the money and is smart enough to know where to go with the ball.. he will stay in his "prime" until his arm falls off like Drew Brees or Boomer Esiason or some other part of his body stops him like Peyton Manning or Tony Romo. Dak has hit his "prime" as far as throwing the ball. But he will continue to gain experience and get smarter and smarter in the game until the day he retires. As such he is going to continue to improve until he either hurts his throwing arm or shoulder or he retires. I realize that bothers some people.. Too bad..
