Oh was he playing guard? He just looks like a tackle to me but yeah I actually didn’t know that.

I read that he was getting snaps at guard in training camp and it looked to me like it made him worse at tackle.

Given the lack of offensive line depth throughout the league, it will be interesting to see if he passes through waivers?

I’d have cut Nsekhe first.

Given injuries and roster issues I could see team(s) putting in a claim for Knight . Like someone mentioned the Cowboys have the likes of Josh Ball Mitch Hyatt on the lay away plan at some point you churn the roster .

This is more of a numbers game as players return from IR.
I don’t think Knight was all as bad as some make him out to be. But we knew this when cutting down to the initial 53 it would be a good problem to have. Who you you release, before injuries happened.

The staff liked him and kept him on the roster for several years. So he either did not develop like they planned or thought. And it being a numbers game for the roster.

I hope he clears and gets back to the PS. But then what is that saying if he is not claimed. I wonder if they tried to trade him at all.

Yeah Nsekhe…don’t like bringing in a 36 year old swing tackle. Makes no sense to me.

Does anyone here believe that Nsekhe is better than him?

I thought Knight did not have a particularly good camp and preseason. I thought he would improve over last year.

My guess is that the Cowboys need the roster spot to save a player from getting poached from the PS. The Cowboys have some good players on the PS. I believe both Farniok, Braylon Jones, and Alarcon all outplayed Knight in camp and preseason.

Well it was no secret we were going to be in a bit of a numbers crunch spot before long....

But I'm actually gaining confidence that the team is doing the right thing.

It's been a while since I've felt that way.

I think they thought they were getting another Cam Fleming/Cam Erving. But Nsekhe looked shot. And that was before his recent episode.
Here's where we find hope.....Steele looked like crap in preseason also.....especially on the left side.

Tyron just can't go down. He can't.
