I loved the pick of Lamb last year! The kid is such a baller, & he does it with a smile on his face. He has such a great time. Of course, I would too if I was that good. Our WR1, hands down.

Talk about coaching.

no way, no how a garret led team goes for the kill shot like that.

garret would have played super conservative and settled for a field goal attempt.
This is what bothers me about McCarthy. Does he want to be conservative or does he want to go for the kill shot? Why did he go for the kill shot in OT but didn't in the 4th? His coaching is coaching decisions just are weird at times but you are right this is all about coaching and its why we rarely win these type of games in the past and we are doing it now.
I think they don’t like when players retaliate and then the ref misses it and on replay it looks like favoritism, just trying to tighten the game up with instigating
If that's their reason....they are worried about the wrong stuff lol. I didn't think they had "retaliation" problems in the NFL. Seems like you can count on one hand where things get ugly aside from team scuffles.

I was scared they were going to call taunting on the way he went into the endzone looking back at the CB. In that case the TD wouldn’t count. Not sure if the rule allows for that but I was worried while he was doing it.
Your right, a bad referee (of which there are many) might have tried to call that. Taunting penalties are just another way for the NFL to sissify the game, and control the outcome. But, a game winning catch like that, strolling into the endzone? Ceedee is on top of the world and any ref that called that back would be crucified, and rightly so.

Ok watched it again a few times. The wave was well after the TD. Actually the NE player did not need to shove CeeDee.
What I originally thought was he was looking back at the defender holding the ball over the goal line. So nothing wrong with that at all.

taunting wouldn’t erase the score though.

Didn't like him getting a cheap shot push and knockdown, be business like just score, seal the win,
no need to get too cute. That way nothing weird happens, as this game had a few.

We got 2 - WR1s. Both of them can destroy you.
Absolutely correct. Amari is the best route runner in the NFL. Cooper is amazing with the ball in his hand and a little running room. Let us not create issues where none should exist. Both are great, let’s leave it at that. Happy to have them both.

We havent beat them since 1996. We haven’t won there since 1987.

Let ‘em dance and showboat
Exactly, like me, CD probably grew up mostly seeing the Patriots dominate everyone. Now he catches the GW TD against them and against one of the greatest coaches and defencive minds of all time. Yeah, I'd showboat too in that situation.
