Or he could be Sean McVay.

Or Sean Peyton.

Or Kliff Kingsbury.

Or Matt Rhule.

This is a completely different person and situation from Garrett or anyone else.

Stop fearmongering and trying to gaslight people.

You know nothing.

You know how we delight, as fans, every time there's been a story in the last year or two about how fresh and innovate Kellen is as an offensive coach, because we know Jason Garrett's offenses never would have done whatever good thing Kellen's offense just did?

Go ask a Packers fan about the flood of those exact stories out of Green Bay ever since they shoved McCarthy out a trap door.

He was their Garrett. He was old and stale and the game had passed him by.

Losing Kellen's offense and going to a McCarthy offense is a deal-breaker to me. It's curious to me that you'd simultaneously bash Garrett while also advocating for us to double-down on a similarly stale coach.

You don't know till you give him a chance. if you give him a strong DC and ST coach and a assistant HC to manage game situations he'll be fine. Most coordinators who get HC gigs surround themselves with people they know and are comfortable with. To succeed, you surround yourself with the best people available. we have those people now.

In 2007-2010, Garrett was one of the hottest OCs in football and many Boys fans wanted him to replace Wade. He did, and.......well, you know.

Moore may not be the same as the Clapper but his OC skills by no means translate to being a good HC either.

Garrett was never one of the hottest OCs in football. Never.

He was never an X and Os type of coach.

It was Jerry who hyped him up as a "red-headed genius" which he sure was not.

Garrett took over after when Sean Payton/Parcells has already implemented a top 5 offense. He inherited a good offense and a good QB. Then he slowly ran it to the ground.

Moore is a true genius. He truly is a gifted playcaller and has drawn up schemes to beat any defense.

Someone will surely offer him a Head coaching position with good pay.

Jerry needs to offer Moore to stay and giving him coaching pay. He did it with Garrett. He should do it with Moore.

If there is anything to compare Moore to is with Sean Payton.

Because Garrett enforced his crappy, stale offense onto the team. While McCarthy is allowing his coordinators to do what's best.

I agree. Maybe he’ll be a great HC but being a great OC does not guarantee that.

Other then a SB trophy on the case leave the rest off your list other then Peyton . Heck the guy the Eagles fired got them the only SB ever and he’s been replaced by an “ offensive genius “ who doesn’t know Miles Sanders is a threat .

Moore is no sure thing and if the Cowboys have any playoff success this yr Pittsburgh Mike is back horrible clock management and dumb challenges and all …

all of these guys have had much longer coaching experiences.....McVay was coaching for a long while for different position before he ascended. Peyton was actually OC in NY before he got canned by Fassel (idiot). Kingsbury was head coach in college for several years...before he got to NFL. same with Rhule.

Moore has all of 3 years coaching experience.....there is a lot to learn......

With the nucleus of young talent at the skill positions even if Moore left someone on earth should be located by the Jones family to punch the ball in from the one . Moore is replaceable , anyone is .
