He looks to be primed to post double digit sacks this season. Given that he is a free agent, what do you think his market value is. Not "home town discount" value " or "take this much, or he can kick rocks" value, his actual market value

10 a year. He will get it. Likely end up in miami. Wish we could have him. Maybe he will give JJ a favor and let us have him on a 1 year deal. Can’t cut D-Law yet. If we did it would cost us but could it save us enough to move some things around and get him. I figure Gallup is gone. Wilson will take over but his rookie deal is up I think. We are losing players this year that we need. Hope for another good draft.

I mean, the guy doesn't have one year on his resume that shows he's a top pass rusher. Until he does I wouldn't even consider paying him.
What if he hits double digit sacks this year?

You would then have a guy now that did it once. But only once. Pass rushers are a premium, so how much does that get you

Unless he only has a couple more sacks on the season, he is getting alot more than 10M a year

I couldn't see him going to another team honestly. I think he stays regardless.

Too inconsistent at this point to call. He has flashed before and then disappeared.

Get Lawrence back and then take a look at that tandem.
If he can keep bringing the heat then it could get exciting at the end of season. Rotate Parsons in also.

Calais Campbell signed a 2-year $25 million with Baltimore in 2020. He's older, but obviously has more of a track record. Hendrickson and Lawson got $15M per: Gregory won't get that much, unless it's like a one-year deal.

Maybe 4 years, $50M?

Probably low. Robert Quinn got 14M AAV and 30 guaranteed two years ago. I dont think he would get less considering he cant suspended anymore

Yeah I’m just taking his background into consideration. Maybe it’s still too low.

He’s easily the teams #1 priority this off-season..

Free Agency is going to crush Dallas next year. They really need to make sure they are going all in this year because it may be hard to field a team like this again.

Jerry paid Crawford $20M total for 2019 and 2020. Let that sink in. Jerry pays for what he wants and overpays for players he likes. Jerry likes Gregory a lot. Jerry will pay Gregory. Unless Stephen can stop him.

Unless he bribes a tester, or something asinine like that, Id dont think he can get suspended. I could be wrong, but if Im not that makes him a more stable asset. I think slightly north of the contract Quinn got makes sense. 15-16 AAV. 35/40 guarenteed. Quinn had a better track record, but had a good stretch of mediocre play before turning his value around here. However I dont see him get top 10 value, which is about 17 AAV on the low scale

Lawson got 10.5 sacks combined in 2019 and 2020. If Gregory gets 10 this year, he will probably get more than Lawson

Hard to say given his history but since he is a Cowboy his agent will want top dollar. It will be interesting to see if signs a big contract with the Cowboys.

Only 15 of that was salary
The rest was from signing bonus and restructure
His contract was 9 mil a year
I think Gregory will get 10 mil or so a year
That goes to 12 if he hit double digit sacks though
