I'd argue the latter. Handicapping a generation of talented players with this level of coaching is easily Jerry's worst decision.

Garrett is a victim again. We are unable to see Garrett’s true genius because he is once again been saddled with a lack of talent.

And Garrett’s predecessor Shurmur had the Giants offense in the teens in scoring. Not 27th and 31st like Garrett has them.

Problem is Barkley will give you one long run every 20 runs and 10 of 20 runs will be for 0 or negative yards. I wouldn’t run him either. Use screens and passes in the flat and try to get him in space.

I feel for the guy. Stud in college undermined in the pros by an awful coordinator and the injury bug.

Probably Garrett because he held this team back from what it could have been. He managed to do just enough to make it seem like he was a competent coach, even winning Coach of the Year, but the truth was that any success he had was less than it could have been with a more creative play-caller who creates mismatches.

No. But even when he has, he doesn’t use him. I think it’s been like 7 games.

If you're saying the Giants have a strong roster, please tell me who they are. Their best player played in what, 2 games last year? Jones is bottom of the stats in most categories. He doesn't have half the team he had in Dallas when he left.
