  • We have no trades working right now for 11/2 deadline. Always looking for ways to be better though.
  • We have a lot of confidence in our roster. We have several guys on IR who will improve the team. Tristan Hill, Neville Gallimore, normally would have been slated at the 1. DeMarcus Lawrence, most people thought he was our best defensive player before his injury. Guys like Gallup. And a few high draft picks too.
  • My hobbies? I enjoy good college football games in my off time. I'm going to the SMU game tonight. I also scout good players who stick out. I watch a lot of Razorbacks because my son plays.
  • A lot of our impending free agents are playing themselves into situations. As far as who will be on this team in the future.... many of them have met or exceeded expectations.
  • As quick as we got ourselves into a bad situation on defense, we did the same to improve it. Mike and Quinn felt we could take a quick step. These turnovers, I don't think any team in the league would expect it. Hopefully it will continue. The first way you win a football game is win the turnover battle.
  • You always want to keep your successful coordinators but that's part of the business. When Parcells was here, Payton, Zimmer, those guys all got opportunities. But the good news is it means you're having success on the field. Certainly it happened with Butch Davis, Waandstedt, Norv Turver. You hate to lose guys doing a great job, but hopefully if we're doing our job we have guys on our staff who can step up.
  • Dak has had the it factor, leadership, it all came out from the day he walked in the door. He is not only a leader on the field, but off the field. There is no let up in this guy. If there is anyone I wouldn't ever want to bet against, it's Dak Prescott.
  • Mike addressed Collins already. The Coaches will address. When you miss 5 weeks, it takes time to get your legs back under you. They will be evaluating him and make the best decision. Terence Steel has really answered the bell. He was thrown in the fire last year, built his strength in the offseason and looked where he could improve. He checked all the boxes.
  • I didn't mention La'el when talking about great players coming back, but he's in that category too. I just don't remember a football team with this much depth. We lost Zack Martin and Connor McGovern stepped in and did a great job. Wilson for Gallup. And that defensive line group has done a great job stepping in for everyone. The safeties stepped up for Wilson. I feel really good about this team but it's a young team that will have to improve.
  • Mike has them focused this week on getting their legs back under them. Recover from the weekly fatigue. We have a lot of games to go. Focus on your bodies in this bye week. Every week though is week to week. Between the coaching staff led by McCarthy and the players led by Dak, they're going to do it the right way.
  • Are we having a party in the victory suite? If they had shown the box right before the celebration all you would see is tension and solemn faces. We know how hard it is to win a game, so when you win it you enjoy the moment.

You always want to keep your successful coordinators but that's part of the business. When Parcells was here, Payton, Zimmer, those guys all got opportunities. But the good news is it means you're having success on the field. Certainly it happened with Butch Davis, Wannstedt, Norv Turver. You hate to lose guys doing a great job, but hopefully if we're doing our job we have guys on our staff who can step up.

Here is the basic problem I have with Jethro, and his son Jethrina. You have a premier play caller and, "hopefully we have people that can step up."

If twenty five years of so-so play calling does not stand out against what you are seeing with Kellen Moore, and how that ability to confuse defenses with unpredictability is far and away more important to this team, then perhaps Forest Chump, you need to set your silver spoon down and sell shoes.

I understand players make the coaches. A good coach appears to be great with the right players. But there is something artful about Moore's game plans. From week to week he exploits what your defense can't handle.

And if it comes down to, "hopefully if we are doing our job," the proof is in that twenty five year old, rancid, stinky results you served up as doing your job in the past.

They say if you repeat an act over and over, expecting different results, this is the sign of being crazy.

I submit to you, brethren of the Star, this is the sign of being a dumb arse.

The Razorbacks are IN the SEC.. just saying..

Well that was a slap in the face to all Hogs fans. Always seem to want to lump them in one of the smaller conferences. Can't even give them their due in a great season.

I wouldn't put too much into the 'scouting' comment. His point was when he has free time he watches college football, and if he happens to see some great talent, he puts the scouts on it.

This is our next GM/Owner if they work out the taxes. Be glad the guy lives and breathes football.

THANK YOU!

Jerrah would have said "oh he'll be startin' on Halloween night"

Glad someone else caught that. That's what I mean by there is a good vibe between the two. A Coach/GM partnership where it needs to be. I think Stephen will do a fine job running the franchise when Jerry's days are up.

Coaches you have more control but really if someone backs a brinks truck up to Moore not much Dallas can do, except offer more money. Better to expect to lose him than think you will end up keeping him. That way you are prepared.

Or offer him the head coaching job of the premiere sports franchise in the world, if he be patient one more year. And a shate pile of money.

Its not below them to do that but MM would lose the team he would a lame duck until he quit, contract expires, or is fired. It would be JG all over again.
