Is it just me or is the calf thing a much more common injury this year. It's like it hired a publicist or had an army of bots posting about it on Twitter. Are calf injuries spread by airborne contact?

I will note that neither player was wearing a mask when they strained their calf muscles.

What makes you think they are identical in severity?
i said similar not identical and being a QB with very similar situation ie a Bye right after i thought it was worth debating..im very curious

what makes you think its not..lol..you better hope its not like Gallups 5 weeks + out..

at least my scenario is better to ponder..

I think Gallup had muscle damage. Pretty sure they said no muscle injury with Dak. I could be wrong. Dak said pain sat in a little later walking out. But adrenaline will do that. He was limping on the way to locker room but was limping worse leaving but had the protective boot on and will make you walk worse. He seemed to say he was fine and was going to let the media play with it this week.

On his Ticket Show, Troy Aikman talked about his calf injury against Washington and having to come back and play as doubtful. (He didn't get a bye week)

He had to play Green Bay in 1995.

Results?

Cowboys win 34-24
Aikman: 24 for 31, 316 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 1 SK, 0 FUM

The sack was from the Minister of Defense, Reggie White, who gave Aikman major kudos after the game for playing so hurt.

I think we'll be fine. I wish Dak could have played an NFC East Team though. Warmup against one of the softies.

because i said so without knowing or having much else much to go on. so i chose on my thread to say they might be good comp to gauge daks injury..

why you worried? i think you are questioning a hypothetical scenario on Daks calf..what else do we talk about on bye week..you send dak soe roses and card maybe some chocolates , you invite him out to dinner for Valentines day..

Bromance , rock cant stand the thought of his mancrush being down again....:lmao:

i forgot we arent allowed to talk about dak unless we put up huge stats and rank him tp 5 or rock comes to snuff it out.

poor rock losing sleep over yet another Dak injury..

Quit acting like a child. My point was you have no idea the severity of Daks injury and you don't. So you chose to attack.

MRI results made me feel much better and reporters said a big sigh of relief by the organization got the results back. At this point I think expectation by Dak and the team is he will be playing, unless something else pops up I expect he will be playing.

why because they have a very similar situation both calf injuries' right before the his bye and now Jimmys practicing to see if he can play and how well this weekend..

Its worth a look just to gauge how this goes if he starts..if he does start how well he plays and IF he re-tweaks it.

i know there DC FO needs to watch..we might have to go with option 2 and let dak heal up against the vikes vs him re-tweaking and it lingering..

there are far bigger games coming then the Vikings.

a heavy run game and solid defense with no crazy analytics clock issues in the game

we could still win :) Maybe :)
With Cooper Rush at the helm?

No way.

Dak is much tougher than JennyG.
tough has nothing to do with it being healthy and playing well. as Baker dudes been playing with shoulder injury thats popped out 3 time's and kept going back in , deosnt help to be tough if you cant function properly..talk about tough i mean they had to pop that shoulder back in twice the last game turns out he has full labrum tear and fracture of the orbital bone the shoulder pops in and he kept playing and lobbied to play Thursday. they were smart to go with CaseK. good thing they had backup..umm see cooper rush smh

howd that philly game go in 19 when dak toughed it out..he looked horrible and we lost the season and division over that shoulder..not being able to plant or push off can effect a throw especially accuracy and velocity..Jimmy looks like he wil play thats why we should see how he pays..

Jimmy played in SB

last i checked dak hasnt won game 2 in the playoffs..

nice no reason rip on JG..smh
