Twitter: Ranking Cowboys receivers with career red zone TDs

Say what you want but Dez was a red-zone machine and if we're honest, it hasn't been the same since he left.

Dez was dymanic. Sucks as a fan to see people not give him the respect he deserves. We can talk about the flaws he had.....but on his best day he was better than anyone on that field. He was dominant. A man among boys and one of the best players to ever come through Dallas. Maybe it will take for him to get old to get his respect.

What sucked the most for Dez was having Jason Garrett as a head coach. Ive never seen a talent like Dez at RAC rarely get slants called his way. It took Romo changing plays at the line to get Dez the ball. If JG had his way he would have had Dez run 40 go routes a game.

Dez was a red zone cheat code.

A lot of his shortcoming were because he had a coach that didn’t believe in dynamic offenses.

Our best 3rd down play was if Dez is 1 on 1 just throw it up to him.

He might get a dig route here and there.

Des could’ve been TO part 2. Catch and run WR. The guy was like Adrian Peterson after he caught a football but Garrett refused and would not change his offense with the talent he had.

When Dallas was at its best it involved Romo scrapping the playbook at improvising.

I literally said the same thing. I would have LOVED to see what Moore would do with Dez in our current offense.

I dont disagree but this fanbase knocks his route running.
