Seems to me they are not trying to rush him, he went out in the Tampa Bay game and has not played since. I agree Wilson is filling in fine, I also know Gallup talent wise is the better player

I don't think they will rush or need to .. he will be rushing them to get him back in the game.. it's a contract year and every game he sits his value goes down.

They've done almost the opposite, they've played it cautious.

The original report was 3 to 5 weeks and it's currently been 6.5 weeks and he hasn't even practiced once.

I'm hoping you're right on that, but I have a feeling it may be a little longer, and get to the point of where they may as well give him the ten days after the Saints game.

Remember there's almost a full calendar month and four division games thereafter.

But yeah we need him back asap, but hopefully we can afford to be cautious.

Yeah, but he had a calf strain and that's a very unpredictable injury to overcome.
