I kinda hope Rush Starts

Making the playoffs is what matters. I'd rather have a healthy Dak going into the playoffs then see him get hurt, miss a few games and be a maybe for the playoffs. But like I said if he needs to miss now is better than later. What I don't want is to have Dak miss NFCE conference games due to this injury. So i'm listening to the trainers and leaning towards whatever they think.
If we finish #4 our super bowl chances are less than zero... more likely having a comet destroy the Earth than the Cowboys making it through the 2nd place NFC West team AND the #1 seed AND At Lambeau.

Meh. Eli Manning and the Giants were only the best team in the NFC one year, that was 2008, and the Titans were the best team in the NFL that year.

you can say what you choose the results of the season are in and they won it all. There is no such thing as the Maybe bowl, there is no what if bowl or I think bowl just the SB and The results of the game is the fact.

If you think we should play for the 1 seed and try to win every game then you shouldn't be torn between those two options.
See you rico....we don't jive so onto the ignore list....you'll be my only one there, but I can't afford to lose my temper with uninformed responses......salud.

Why all the consternation and thinking about what’s best?
If Dak can play on both legs and play at a high level, he should start.
If Dak is still struggling to run or cut, is limited by his calf, and might strain it further, he shouldn’t play.

Our record doesn’t even matter, or shouldn’t…..in the NFL, players, including QBs, have to play with bumps and bruises, soreness, etc all season. The player can play without significant chance of further injury or weak performance, he plays. If he’s limited and risking more severe injury, he sits unless it’s a playoff or play-in game.

If the doctor and trainers say he can go, the coaches are not going to say, “let’s wait until he’s perfect.”
If the word is that it’s a 50/50 crapshoot, where he may come through it fine or he may strain it further and miss 6 weeks, he won’t play.

Exactly!

But you said I did?

I said for someone to act like a man instead of this whinny crap of unless we are #1 or #2 seed he hopes they lose. I pointed out NY, yet not the only wild card team to make it to the SB or win the SB.

It will give Dak time to get healthy, it will allow us to see what he can do....if he fails, maybe we pull off a trade for a backup......We are 3 games ahead with a favorable schedule coming up.....
Ideally, I want Dak 100% but this may be a good time to see what we got and what we need....Salud!
I would love to find out, on Sunday, that starting Rush was just a smoke screen. Either Dak is 100 percent healthy, or—surprise—we are starting Grier and he plays like Tom Brady in his prime.

If Dak is still in pain, even slight, I think you need to strongly consider starting Rush. I won't be happy about it, but it's certainly worth consideration if there's a chance of causing further damage.

My feeling is if the medical staff clears him and he can play, he should play. It comes down to that IMO

There is NOTHING good about Rush starting. Nothing at all.
