Did anyone think we could win with Cooper Rush at QB? I know I didn't. I thought we would've had a better chance if Cooper Manning was the QB.

I did.
I said it in the game thread in the 1st half. I said we would win by 4 points.
Though I later said after the INT, maybe I should rethink that.

20-16. To the math I learned in school, that is 4 points. :muttley:

I grilled mine up last night and tossed some BBQ on it.

Defense deserves a ton of credit, same to Rush.

I did not
It was a total team effort but rush played a very solid game
Something I didn’t think he had in him
I like my crow deep fried lol

Certainly not me! I thought the team made a mistake relying on him as the backup. I’m happy to be wrong. Rush performed quite well last night and did just what you hope your backup would.

Now I see what the team has talked about with him.

Many of these folks were posters calling in the game thread for Will Grier! Cooper ain’t Dak, just as Buerlein wern’t Aikman, or Clint Longley weren’t Staubach. But it’s a frickin TEAM game and the team was good enough last night with Coop.

That said, Coop is not anything but a short-term emergency starter. Although if he does have to start again, the experience of last night will pay dividends.

Many are eating crow.....get it out of your system here.....
I dont have to all week all the up to the game and into the game i said we can win this game and rush would do enough with that type of team around him..

i supported rush all week and this is my statement for those getting ready to eat crow

umm every single one of you that trashed rush all week, all day, and most of the game needs to apologize or quit this place..

you were wrong those of us that said wait and see how it turns out first before bashing were right AGAIN all year every player and coach that was doubted have come though to make the naysayer wrong ..

you all should be tired of being wrong.

this was Rush very first start and hes thrown total of 3 nfl passes..so anyone replies nit picking his game should look at the 35million dollar qb on the losing end of it..cousins wasn't very good for top starter in this league..our defense stepped dup big time..

all those that wanted white , rush says Hello..

the guy is a basic vanilla nothing special player but he came in and did his job..very much reminded me of garrets start and win on TG against Gb..

not huge deal to win this game in the grand scheme of things but great for rush his family, and all the players that stepped up and won this game as TEAM.

this is team game and this team has been playing like team since game 1 and its nice for once to see this culture..

great won for the team and fans..6-1 6 in row backups all stepping up

I’m new to crow eating so I have questions . Do we have to eat it with feathers ?

In a million years would I have picked Copper Rush to beat Vikings on the road . Last night was as impressive a win as I’ve ever seen this organization have in the regular season game and I have been watching since the 70s.

I have been harsh on Moore since 2019....I had said he would be schooled his first year, 2019 and that was a weird year to put a young coach, in his first big gig into a position like that. last year he was slightly better and this year I ragged on him for some game management stuff. but he has been a quick learner. impressive how quick he has adjusted and learned. he is adding to his game, making less mistakes and growing into a really really really good OC in front of our eyes. he is very unpredictable but with a purpose (not random like Garrett). every play has a purpose and a great design to it and that's nice to see. he is a fantastic OC now and it looks like he is having a lot of fun, enjoying and somewhat toying with Defensive Coordinators....

I humbly eat crow. Kellen Moore I owe you an apology......
