Over the next 4 which includes the short week for Thanksgiving will be a big stretch for this team
Every opponent is 500 or better with Atlanta, KC, Raiders and Saints. How this team gets through this portion will tell us a lot about their chances of making a run in post season.

Of these next 4 games if playoffs started today 3 of those 4 would be in playoffs, only 1 of the 4, KC would not currently be in post season and yet in my view the most dangerous of the 4 we will face despite their poor start to the season. 4 games in a little over 3 week period in going to be the big challenge for this team and how they come out of these game will say a lot about them

What's interesting is all four have major issues they are dealing with, yet can be dangerous on any given Sunday.

If the team that we saw the first 7 weeks shows up, we go 3-1 or 4-0 over these next 4 games. We are better across the board than all of these teams. If last week was an omen of things to come, we could be looking at 6-6 or 7-5 really fast. I honestly think the offense will return to the level of play we saw the first 7 weeks. They are too talented not to assuming we can get the tackle situation figured out. The defense really didn't look all that different from what we've been seeing all year. If the offense was playing competently I am almost certain we would have only given up around 20 points. Most teams will give up 30 when the other team possesses the ball for 48 minutes. The success of this team is predicated on the offense being a top 5 unit that protects the defense. It is a dangerous game to play but it is what we have. If they play more like an average-below average unit and we pair that with our below average defense this is a bad team. It is as simple as that.

I veiw this team the same as I did before the Bronco's....if they play to their best we will win 90% of these games...if they come out thinking the other team is going to lay down for them, well they can lose to any team in the NFL....this is the same for all the top teams. The disparity in the NFL is just not big enough to sleep walk through any game.

Atlanta: If the Cowboys do not win this convincingly, alarm bells might begin to sound.

And law enforcement need to secure all bridges. Especially all around the DFW metroplex.

2-2 (especially if the wins are vs. the two NFC teams) and they are still in decent position.

They really need DLaw and Gallimore back - and I hate to say it but Brent Urban after the Falcons.

I think 4-0 against those teams is a big ask.

Reason I use the 4 is 3 of the 4 of these teams currently would be playoff bound KC being the exception. Also the fact it would be the 3/4 mark of the season and lastly after the NO games this team gets an extended time off being it is a Thursday game. Dallas then hits the final games of Washington 2 time, NY and Cards and Philly and hopefully the Philly game has no meaning for the Cowboys

I say the only way to judge a season and know 100% is all 17 each team in the league all completing their schedules id the only way to judge season and start playoff positioning or ranking teams..

that it ..3/4 of season does not make complete team..i believe Tampa was 7-5 last year before they found their way..a few losses mid season will not derail the season.we were 3-5 in 18 and went on run..you play them all..

That is true but this portion is the toughest this team has faced. Every team in this 4 game span are 500 or better this is a true test of this team. Add to that you have 4 games in 18 days. Of course the final games mean something but no bigger test that what they are about to face.

they play 17 for reason..its how the entire big picture is resolved one all teams compete their schedule and you complete yours , that's it.
