So we have got to look at the replacement of some key positions next year. What key positions are a must to consider at our #1 pick? Also consider our #2.
We def need to look at OT... what else?

Well aside from last week, it looks like our 1st pick will be in the upper 20s, if not in the 30s. That means our scouts are going to have work some magic for us to get any rookie difference makers.

You have to have final draft grades to really look at who is going to be there in the 1st round. Other than QB or RB any really elite player can help this team. We have needs everywhere.

I know, I know, BPA, but no team really follows that. It’s nice to say, but doesn’t really happen in reality, at least nowhere near all the time.

Offensive tackle, DL, DBs, and maybe even WR depending on who we resign.
WR? we will have3 of these 4: cooper, Cee Dee, Gallup, or Wilson. IN addition, Noah has played well when given the chance. IF we draft a WR, it wont be any earlier than a 5th rd pick. Id say WR is way down on the totem pole. Id be doing DT, OL, Safety, LB. BUT, that is 100% dependent upon how the rest of the season goes. If Tyron's injury is simply an ankle sprain and he returns and stays healthy the rest of the way, AND Collins pulls his head out, we might not need an olineman.

The important thing is Jerry did not trade away any of the top picks for next year..., build through the draft is the only way this team will be able to compete.

Notice I said depending on who we resign. Gallup, Wilson, and Brown (not 100% sure about Brown) are free agents. What if we fail to sign any of them? I don’t think there’s any way we’d take one with our first round pick (nor should we), but WR could be in play in any round after that if we failed to resign any of our FAs.

I would agree, but brown hasnt done enough to warrant a big payday from anyone, so I would think we would keep him. Wilson has clearly shown enough that wed like to keep him. I love Cooper, but if Gallup does really good the rest of the way, I might keep him and let Coop walk. He is making too much money... sorry coop, love you, but its Bidness.

I think as late as it looks like they will be picking best just take best player on the board. They went for the better fit when it came to Taco and Watt and that worked out really well.

Something to consider: Its likely going to fall in the bottom 25, so LT and DE might be tough spots to fill with that pick. If you want to go that route, you might have to trade up

If they do draft late, then the best value will probably be a LB, which is sorely needed.
