Roger Staubach
Troy Aikman
Tony Romo
Danny White
Jason Garrett (lul)
Cooper Rush (lul)

Is it too early to have this conversation? Did Fanbuzz nail it? I, personally, see Dak finishing his career on the upper half of said list.

Most will know why I included Garrett and Rush on the list... Purely for laughs but there was another reason too.

Right now Dak is a solid #5 behind Roger, Troy, Danny and Dandy Don.. Before this year I would have ranked him behind Romo but frankly he done passed Romo up and is closing on Dandy.. Still to move past Danny White he has to get deeper into the playoffs.. I know it's a team accomplishment but that's the criteria. If you just put up pretty numbers and never win anything.. you're just Tony Romo with a better body..

Right now tied with Tony. The two above them won something.

Drew Bledsoe should be on the list. He is the only QB in NFL history to lose his starting job to both Tom Brady and Tony Romo. He is like the guy you date before you meet your husband. If I were the Dolphins or Jets I’d sign Bledsoe for the rest of the season based on that fact alone. Sorry it didn’t work out for you, though, Buffalo.

He needs to win something.

Absolute no reason this team can’t play in a Super Bowl.
There we go again with "He" needs to win something... Marino was pretty good, but had some issues doing it by himself... Each and every game is not like the other, A team has to gel to "win" something... As far as the eye test thus far, he is the as good as any QB who has played for the cowboys in terms of skills.

Yeah I've got him about even with Tony but that's basically ceremonial at this point. By the end of the season I fully expect him to be >Tony Romo.

And I'm legit the biggest Romo fanboy that ever lived, but Romo's best seasons were 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2014. Dak has already put together nearly that same resume (2016, 2018 and working on 2021) in less time. This season his passing is as good as Romo's was in most if his great years.

yeah bit early, but right now I would rank him below romo, and above white.
And don meredith should be #3 below aikman

as of yet dak has not got past div round, same as romo, so really white got to champ games I think? So maybe white is above romo at #4
hard to compare guys from different eras based on anything but what they get to and win.
Roger Staubach
Troy Aikman
Don Meredith
Danny White
Tony Romo
Dak ....has to get past div round and to champ game to pass romo

I'm good with the list...Romo and Dak have won the exact same in the playoffs though, neither got past Divisional..White for sure deserves to be above them as he got to the NFCCG ...

to pass romo he needs to get past div round or he is the same as romo.
And I think dak has more talent on this team, this year and better coaches than romo ever had.

Coaches for sure...and that is why I think Dak will get it done.
