Uh, with all due respect to Micah Parson, Parson isn't even in LT's league.
That's how good LT was.
Not yet.
I do think it's a natural comparison, and closer than most rookies.I agree with everyone, we have a beast in Parsons, generation type of player. Sorry he ca not be mentioned with LT , hopefully some day....

Dude, I just almost had a heart attack. For some reason I was reading Parsons breaking his ankles.
Lol. I thought it said he broke his ankle. Heart attack.
And why is Parsons not doing this on 95% of the plays?
I love Diggs but I'd trade those 8 ints for Revis in his prime coverage.
I disagree. He is in LT's league, literally in the NFL...and will be DROY....and has a shot at DPOY. Has he earned LT type status yet ..no, but he has everything needed to be.
I disagree.
Because he's 240-245 pounds and once he gets tired and slow down he's a sitting duck for some of these 300 pound monsters to break him in half. Remember he almost got a rib taken out on a chip against the Chargers.. He's not big enough to be an every down pass rusher.. He's better in spurts.. and it's safer for him.
I understand the safety concerns. But linebackers seem to go down as much or more than defensive ends.
Parsons is listed at 6'3, 245. That's as big as a number of top edge guys like Von Miller. And Parsons is definitely going to build more muscle mass this offseason. I could see him at 255-260 and still ultra quick.
Yes Parsons is almost as big as TJ Watt and Von Miller.. but you may have noticed, those two consistently have a hard time staying on the field. I don't think that's a coincidence. And they also play 3-4 OLB not 4-3 DE. The obvious difference being the extent to which they are asked to directly engage the OTs. I just think Parsons is able to affect the game more as a linebacker.. He can run sideline to sideline making plays.. and just wait until he figures on coverage and zone drops.. He's going to be fun to watch returning interceptions when QBs fail to see him or don't throw the ball over him. He's going to be a faster version of Sean Lee.. who ironically was ALSO a high school running back who went to Penn State and moved to defense full time.
Yeah he was definitely undersized.. I doubt he ever got much above 225. As for the second part.. I have no problem with continuing to use Parsons all over the place. Inside, outside, off the ball, on the line.. wherever.. Moving him around frees him up to make plays and keeps the offense from painting a target on him. Also once Tank and Gregory are back we can line him up outside on obvious passing downs shoulder of either guy and alleviate the possibility of doubling anybody. I think once we get those guys all on the field together 50% of drop backs will end in a sack.Faster and bigger than Sean. Sean really was a glorified safety in size. I never bought his listed weight.
If MP's role stayed the same where he's playing alternating positions...how would you feel about that?
