Surprisingly when looking at Chris Jones season stats through week 10, not earth shattering.
He apparently didnt play in weeks 5 and 6 however, so keep that in mind.
8 tackles
4 tackles for loss
4 assists
3 sacks
2 pass deflections

This was always to be expected imo....I said this early in the week- there’s no way they were gonna put him out there and then have him play 72 hours later. Just didn’t make sense no matter what was said on the radio.

Could play against the raiders but tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if they just give him the extra 10 days and wait till the Saints.

When the 2016 Cowboys shut it down with a game and a half to play in the regular season before heading into their playoff bye it was a "big picture" move too.

And that "smart" (pathetic) and "safe" (weak) decision eliminated them in the postseason.

I am definitely anxious to see what the left side can do. I mean I really don’t believe they will be worse than last week’s lineup.

With McGovern starting it suggests that Steele/Collins would be our Tackle starters, not Collins kicking inside at Guard. Have no idea if Tyron will be a go, but does make sense to be careful with him, there are bigger games down the road.

So.........we're starting Steele, McGovern, Biadasz, Martin, and Collins ( let's go lol )
This line is still better then many out there. Have no issue making sure Tyron is fully back and rushing him in against an out of conference opponent. We are going to need him for the stretch run.

he should have had bone spur surgery the week they decided he couldn't play !

3-5 week recover fully back 100% right before the playoff's and ease him back..this hope it better with rest was bit to hopeful..bone spurs dont go away. You play, manage the pain etc etc or have surgery get back for real run.
.not sure why they did this if 3-4 games would be missed anyway and still not be right..

Literallythe same discussions as last year with a different injury....have loved this guy but time to replace....which we also said the last few years

It's groundhogs day unfortunately

No. He’s started 7 games this year. He started 2 games last year. Literally not the same at all.

Dak might get killed today lol

Spagnuolo is a guy who will likely blitz these guys to test how they handle it. Dak is smart enough and experienced enough that he should be able to make them pay for it if they do, provided that the protection is good enough.
