No team is Elite this season.

Rams? Nah
Packers? Lost to the Vikings
Bills? Spanked by the Colts
Cardinals? Probably the best. But can you count on them

Nobody is unbeatable
I’m not asking for a perfect season. But being kept out of the end zone against good teams or in big games is not uncommon anymore. It goes back to the Garrett era but the atmosphere is still alive and well.

Doesn’t change the fact that this team won’t sniff a SB this year.

I think this year is more unpredictable than ever. I’m not getting my hopes up but they could also go far in the playoffs too

Not sure I understand your point. Injuries count.
Point is.......every team gets injuries after Week 1 for sure, the more we talk about injuries, the more it becomes an excuse. Outside of the key position for this team (QB), the drop-offs in play are like a nose dive. Just sayin'. Seems this team gets handicapped too easy by an apparent lack of depth, and too convenient for some, including our coaching staff, including the "Guru".

Thats ridiculous. All injuries arent equal and a few injuries pales in comparison to lots of injuries. If you arent analyzing injuries you arent analyzing.

To brush off injuries as something everyone suffers from equally is lazy.

Cowboys have played incredible despite some key injuries. But they are piling on way to high now. Especially to walk onto a hot KC team on the road and expect great games.

I do not trust their ability to go on the road and win a playoff game...especially if it's at Lambeau in January. Dak will probably be lucky to throw for 100 yards in the cold. I also don't trust their ability to take care of business at home if they ever got the #1 seed. Sure, the offense plays better at home but the playoff teams won't be scared of coming to Jerry World.

Some of the knuckleheads on this board were saying Mahomes wasn’t elite a couple of weeks ago. He was being called a flash in the pan.

Not brushing off injuries at all.....I ain't granting excuses that's all, outside of Dak going down. Seems too convenient about this team.

Look, guys like you dont understand football. The Cowboys are going to be fine when they get healthy.

I actually dont expect you to understand that. But go ahead and jump off the cliff if you like. Ill watch.

You're a patronizing, denegrating twit. I know as much about football as you do, you bombastic, self-important dweeb. I have as much right to express my opinion on this team's status as you do, so get over yourself. This team isn't anywhere near the top of the NFL most respected franchises, due to many things, no less than the over-hype are are sold every year by Jones and his cronies. I guess you have chosen to buy into, good for you .....

Isnt it obvious how much Smiths absence is affecting the Oline? You dont think missing Cooper and Lamb is affecting the passing game? Did you see the drops from the other guys?

Cmon man....................KC at home is as tough as it gets.

hhahahaha this thread is hilarious... so playing a team on the road they boasts super bowls and mvps from the last two seasons and somehow we are suppose to win this game with no Tyron Smith, Randy Gregory, DLaw, Cooper, etc.... lol. odds were stacked against us.
Tyron Smith is the clear cut most valuable player on this team..... we need him healthy.

Thank you!!!! When was the last time the Dallas Cowboys went undefeated in a season? People need to take a step back from the cliff.
the last team that went undefeated decided to lose their first game in the SB

people gotta relax, it was bad today they played like crap but losses are going to happen and we'll probably lose 2 more games

give dak two plays at the line of scrimmage and make him quit changing to pass to pad his stats would have helped a lot, but running the ball doesn't get you no MVP.

Watch more than 1 NFL team before making broad statements like this.

I've watched the NFL since 1966, so don't try to insult me with you stupid put-down. I suspect I have watched more teams and games than you have, so deal with it, chief!
