Full health at 3 or 4 seed or limping with the 1?

I've been thinking about how conservative the staff has been with injured players this year and has gotten me thinking.. Which would I prefer? An 11-6 or even 10-7 team that gets everybody healthy for the playoffs or a 14-3 or 13-4 team that loses a couple more guys along the way?

It's a tough call but I think I'd rather have the former. At full health I have no fear of any team anywhere.. Without key guys I have no faith in us.. against any team, anywhere..

Who cares? We may not be seeded at all if WFT and Eagles catch up, which it seems like they are (we are only two wins up against Philly). I doubt this team could win against the Lions at this point in time so to speak on playoffs speaks volumes about where the fans minds are at

Come on man.. we are 3 games up in the loss column on every team in the division. We would have to go 2-5 the rest of the way while one of the other teams go 5-2 to lose the division. I suppose it's possible.. but not bloody likely. Coach Jerry is going to make another recommendation that we need to run the damn ball and we will get back to the balanced attack for 4-5 games and be fine. Just watch.

I agree that we can beat anyone if this team is at full health.

Just as importantly though, I believe we need the whole roster playing with continuity and execution on games days.

Furthermore seeing the home field advantage KC clearly had yesterday and the impact it had on the refs is another important variable in the overall equation.

The only way to do that is with practice and game play together.

This better be the mandate by New Orleans, Oakland it is what it is with Lamb and Cooper.

Hopefully we can come out with the win by running the ball better and having a solid defensive effort on national TV.

Look at the rest of the schedule. Five against the NFC East, Raiders on TxGiving, Cards the only team that is any good. Perfect opportunity to peak

it's only 4 left against the East.. @Philly and the Giants and two against the Ratscums.. I fully expect to lost at least one of those.. because that's just how division games go. I also see at least one other loss.. Cards, Saints or Raiders.. Can't say which one.. If I had to guess I'd say the Saints because this team clearly has issues with big time crowd noise. And that place is going to be rockin.. The Raiders seem to have hit a wall and the Cards might not have anything to play for in January since they might have everything sewed up as their remaining schedule is pretty soft.

Full health. We will know if Dak is truly elite or is he Kirk Cousins. The reality is if we don’t make it to the NFC Championship game, this will be as disappointing of a season as the 2007 Cabo game.

I think fear of injuries is a bad state of mind to get into. You cannot predict how or when players will get injured. Just play the games and try to win every one. Once the playoffs are clinched then make the choice to rest players or play hard for a better seeding. But with only 17 games, even the 4 game lead Dallas had can vanish in not time. I do not want that game against the Eagles week 18 to be for a playoff spot.

The Cowboys have tended to cool off in December while the Eagles and Giants have tended to get better late in the year. Both those teams are getting healthy. Get into the playoffs then worry about who can play.

Here is a question to ponder. What if Dak got hurt yesterday because Steele allowed a bad hit on him in the pocket? Season over just so they could give Tyron a few more days off.

I don't know, even with a healthy team I dont think they beat the chiefs yesterday in that stadium.
From the jump you can see that they wanted it more - their D overpowered the O-line all day.

The mental aspect of the game is overlooked a lot of times but its why there are upsets every week...

Tell me. Why shouldn’t I hype up two teams who have not only went on winning streaks, but against teams who actually have a chance for the playoffs? WFT beat the Bucs as well as the Panthers who beat AZ the other week. Philly has been on a hot streak and almost beat the Chargers. They are closing in on the division. I’m not even hyping them up, I’m trying to get everyone to see the reality of the situation of the NFCE and the playoff picture. Our “cushion lead” has drastically decreased in the last 3 weeks due to Philly and WFT going about business and actually winning, meanwhile, Dallas is out here without a care like our season isn’t in jeopardy. You guys need to learn the difference between hyping up a team and looking at a team as an opponent and evaluating if they are a threat or not, and they are. I’ve posted positively about the Cowboys when they were winning, but they haven’t been doing too much of that lately. They’ve shown a lot of ugly colors and been exposed but if you can’t see that, I can’t help you. Call me a troll all you want, but people need to see the bigger picture.
